"Click" The car door shut as Janix ran towards the school, her hands full of papers. She ran through the front doors and into the halls when suddenly she ran into someone causing her to drop all of the papers she had in hand.
"Oh my gosh, I'm really sorry!" Janix heard a guy's voice say. Janix looked up and just got a glimpse of the boy she was talking to. "Um, hi!" he said with a pause.
"Hi." Janix said back, barely caring about who she was talking to. She then proceeded to pick up her papers.
She picked up the last papers and the boy pasted her over the pages he helped pick up. "I'm sorry again." He said.
"It's not a problem." She said while she looked through the papers, still not paying attention to the boy.
"Umm, I don't want to be rude or anything, but we've been interacting for a good 2 minutes and you haven't looked at me once." The boy said.
"Sorry, hi." Janix said finally looking at the person she's talking to.
"Hi." He said then paused for a second then said "Ah, sorry, again not to be rude but I'm on the student counsel, football team, work crew/stage crew and a lot more things and I've never met or even seen you here before?"
"Well you know it's a big school. And I don't exactly go to this school yet. I'm in grade 9 at Roshwood Middle School, I'll be coming here next year. Now I'm just here to give my sister Anica some papers." Janix said to the boy.
"Wait, your Anica Marie's sister?" He asked.
"Uh yeah, I'm Janix, I didn't realize that was such a big deal?" Janix said confused.
"No it's not a big deal, it's just that she kind of runs the student council and work crew/stage crew. If your anything like her, I can see us spending a lot of time together next year." He said.
"Speaking of spending time together, it would help if I knew your name." Janix brought to his attention.
"Oh my god, I'm such a idiot, I'm Josh, well Joshua, but I go by Josh." He said while holding out his hand to Janix.
"Hi, Josh." She said while shaking his hand. "Umm, well I should probably get these papers to Anica."
"Oh yeah, totally. I'm assuming I'll see you bringing her other things another time?" Josh asked while Janix started walking away.
"Yeah, maybe I'll even come just to hang out too." Janix said walking away leaving a smile on Josh's face.
