Chapter 6: Months later

      "Ding dong" Janix heard come from the front door.

      "Come in!" She yelled to the door before Josh walked through the door. "Well obviously the money should go towards yearbooks, not updating the computers." Janix said to Anica before turning around and saying "Hey babe!" to Josh.

      "Hey, what are you guys talking about?" Josh asked the two.

      "Carol thinks we should update the computers in the tech lab instead of putting the money towards year books." Anica told Josh.

      "Didn't we just update those computers last year?" Josh asked before walking over to kiss Janix.

      "Yeah exactly!" Anica said.

      "Okay, well sorry I haven't been at many of the student council meetings lately, you know with football championships coming up, we have a lot of practices." Josh brought to Anica's attention.

      "It's fine." Anica replied.

      "Hey it will all be worth it when the team wins!" Janix said putting a smile on Josh's face.

      "And you're going to be there to witness and celebrate the win, right?" Josh asked.

      "Of course, I wouldn't miss it!" Janix said.

      "Oh, so Ryan and Tina asked me if we wanted to go out on a double date on Friday?" Josh asked.

      "Yeah sure, that would be fun!" Janix said. "Where are we gonna go?"

      "I don't know, dinner or something?" Josh said.

      "Okay!" Janix answered. "Oh, what do you think about this picture?" She asked while holding up a picture of Josh and her.

      "It's nice, what's it for?" Josh asked.

      "The yearbook." She said while looking at other pictures.

      "I know I'm gonna regret asking this but why? You're not even on the yearbook committee and you're picking out pictures to put in it." Josh pointed out.

      "One of the perks of having a sister on the yearbook committee, I get to pick out pictures for the yearbook!" Janix exclaimed.

      "You know they still have to be approved by the rest of the committee?" Anica pointed out.

      "What, no, you'll make sure they end up in the yearbook right?" Janix asked Anica.

      "No promises." Anica said back.

      "So what are you doing later?" Josh asked.

      "I don't know, probably going to watch netflix." Janix answered.

      "What are you watching?" Josh asked.

      "Greys Anatomy. Why, do you want to join me?" Anica asked back.

      "Sure, I was hoping we would go to the movies." Josh told her.

      "Please no, I would rather cuddle on the couch in my pajama's! Plus I'm broke." Janix told him.

      "You know I would pay for you." Josh made her aware of.

      "Still, another time, I promise!" She said back.

      "Okay." Josh replied.

      "So I take it your staying for dinner?" Anica asked.

      "I guess so. What are we having?" Josh asked back.

      "Leftovers from last night." Anica replied.

      "What did you have last night?" Josh asked again.

      "Our favorite, babe!" Janix said back.

      "Pizza?" Josh asked.

      "Why is that your favorite?" Anica asked.

      "Cause we had it on our first date!" Josh told Anica while smiling at Janix.

      "Wait, do we have any fries?" Janix asked Anica.

     "You guys are so weird." Anica told the two of them.
