"Oh c'mon Crybaby! Let's go on the Ferris wheel!" The boy said. Crybaby only laughed, but on the inside she was terrified. Chasing him, she tried to act cool.

"No thank you. How about we get some cotton candy instead?" She said, batting her eyelashes. After several minutes, he gave in.

"Sure." He said, walking forward. She followed and tried to grab his hand, but couldn't. She pouted her lips and stomped all the way to the store. Why won't you let me hold you? She thought.

"Is there blue? Which color do you want, Crybaby?" He asked, staring at the spinny cotton candy machine.

"Pink please?" She asked politely. She didn't want him to think she was rude. She wanted to be like the girl he wanted.

He handed it to her and she gratefully smiled. He even paid for it. A perfect boy for Crybaby, or as she thought.

"Let's go on a ride! Please, Crybaby?" He asked, and she couldn't resist. She fell for his big brown eyes, ones like in the fairytale, and agreed.

He dragged her and her fluffy blue dress over to the carousel. She's always hated carousel, but for him, she would do anything. Just not go on the Ferris wheel.

"Oh, shucks. There's only one ride left. Wanna go first, Crybaby? I can wait." He innocently asked.

She really wanted him by her side, she wanted him to be with her. But for him, she'd still do anything. I don't feel good about this.

She hopped onto white horse. "I can hold your cotton candy for you, if you'd like." He said. She gave it to him.

The contraption staring turning slowly, but Crybaby still hated it. It made her feel dizzy. Every time she passed him, it felt like he was laughing at her. "I'm dizzy!" She cried.

Her eyes were glued on him, but he started looking the other way. "Wait here, Crybaby." He said, running off with her cotton candy.

"Where are you going? Wait!" She tried to get off the horse, but it felt way too hard for a petite girl like her. The horse she was on felt like it would turn like this forever.

She held on tight to the horse, as the boy got farther and farther until she couldn't see him anymore. She wanted to cry.

To this day, Crybaby hated carousels. Crybaby hated him, since he never came back. He acted like he never knew her.

No, but this time, she wouldn't fall for boys like him.

She wouldn't get stuck on the carousel.
