you were comforting and quiet
how did love become so violent?

Cry Baby sighed, staring at the boy she loved with all her heart. He fell asleep while they were having a picnic. She couldn't help but admire how peaceful he looked.

"Cry...Baby..." he muttered. She smiled, liking how she had appeared in his dream.

"Kill...Cry Baby..." Her smile dropped once he mumbled those words. Kill her? But doesn't he love her?

The boy's eyes fluttered open. Cry Baby shrugged off the weird feeling she had in her gut. She poked the boy playfully and hugged him.

"Your house is really nice, Cry Baby," he commented, studying the details of the house. Cry Baby scowled. There was nothing nice about this house, especially with her family around.

Her whole family wasn't here. They had left to check on her brother in rehab. It was just her and the boy.

She heard the door getting locked. What was going on?

The boy smirked evilly. "Now that we're alone..."

He pounced on her, but failed to stab her in the chest. It was now a game of hide and seek inside her house. She panted as she looked for a place to hide. After getting inside her parent's bedroom, she sighed. So he really was out to get her.

She glanced around the room, looking for something she could use as a weapon. Instead, she was disgusted with the broken bottles and scattered underwear everywhere. The only way out was through the window.

She heard his breathing through the door, almost as if he was breathing through the phone. "I know you're in there. Open the door, and nobody gets hurt. Well, except you."

She jumped out of the window, which thankfully wasn't that high. She ran out of the house and looked for somewhere to hide.

It has been a week since he tried to kill her, and no matter what she did, she never outgrew him. He just disappeared all of a sudden. And even if she almost died, she still loved him. There was no changing that.
