someone told me stay away from things that aren't yours,
but was it yours if he wanted me so bad?

// pacify her //

I was sitting on my yard, sewing up a hole that opened on my teddy bear. A shadow covered my view. I frowned and was about to shout, only to stop.

A boy, who looked tired and blue, was holding a girl's hand. They were walking around the neighborhood. While the girl kept on talking, he glanced at me. It was obvious he was into me more than her.

"Oh, my mother's calling me! Stay here," she said before kissing him on the cheek. He yawned once she left and looked at me again.

I approached him. "You seem bored."

"Don't I know it," he muttered, chuckling.

You smirked. "I know how to remove her from your life," I assured him. "Permanently."

He shivered at my tone. Seeing the desperation in his eyes, he really wants to get rid of her. He's probably tired of loving her.

"Hey Cry Baby! I'm so glad we're friends now!" The girls trotted happily to the meadow where I brought her. I faked a smile.

"Me too! Hey, can I ask you something?" I looked at her in the eyes.

She nodded, sitting on the grass and patting the spot next to her. I shook my head. As much as I had to keep this "friend" act up, I didn't want to be sitting next to her dead body.

I stared at my shoes. "Do you love someone right now?"

Her eyes lit up with excitement. "Yeah! I'm sure he loves me too."

"I don't think he does."

She looked at me curiously. "What are you talking abou-"

I stuffed a pacifier in her mouth and pinched her nose. She squirmed and tried to kick me, but I was stronger. I was insane.

Soon she fainted. The boy appeared behind a tree and looked at her unconcious body. "You're a monster."

I rolled my eyes. He intertwined his hand with mine.

Oh, I didn't love him. I was done with loving boys. I only did this for fun.

I removed my hand harshly and walked away, the binky I used still in my hand.
