I Cant Believe It!

Chapter Nine

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today is Memorial Day so that means I have no school.

Yay!

Yesterday, the doctor had called me and told me I wasn't supposed to leave the hospital, so I had to go back and he had to check my stomach. Everything was fine and nothing was broken.

Yay for that.

I almost dropped the Lucky Charms Cereal that I was about to pour in my bowl, when my cell phone started ringing. I put the cereal down and answered my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey girl, what's up?" Ok, remember yesterday, when I said I did have friends but only outside of school? Well yeah, this is one of them.

"Hey Britney, I'm just making breakfast. What are you doing?"

"Nothing. I just called to ask you if you wanted to hang out today?"

"Uh, ok! Where do you wanna meet up?"

"How about I pick you up?"

"Alright. What time?"

"Is 12:00 ok?"

"Yup. See you then."

"Ok. Bye."

"Bye." I hung up and checked the time on my phone.

What?! I have to be there at 12:00 and guess what time it is?

10:50!

I made my cereal and shoved it down my throat, not literally, and ran to my room. I grabbed a purple and black zebra print shirt, black shorts, and purple converse. I brought them to my bathroom and took off the clothes I had on now.

I took a shower and put my clothes on. I brushed my teeth, washed my face and brushed my hair. I didn't feel like fixing it, so I just left it down.

By the time I was done with all of that it was already 11:47. Britney usually comes earlier than the time she says so she should be here in...

Three...

Two...

One...

Beep!

Told you. I grabbed my keys and threw them in my purse. I hope I remember they're in there. I walked to her car and went inside.

Britney looked nice. She had on a white shirt with a rose on it, blue jeans that went up to her ankles, and flats.

"Hey, you look nice." I said, while putting my seat belt on. What? I care about my safety.

"What about me?" A voice said, coming from the back seat. I turned around and sighed.

Britney brought Stephen.

Stephen was another one of my friends. Britney, Stephen, and I were best friends since we were six. We always hung out when we were younger, (we still do), and we used to go to the same school until my mom made me transfer. Since then, I haven't made any friends in school. I don't know why, but I just didn't.

"Eww. You never look nice," I answered with a smirk as I turned back around.

"Hey, don't say that!" Britney yelled.

"Why not, are you disagreeing with me?"

"No! I-I didn't mean that."

"Then what did you mean?" Sometimes, Britney can be confusing.
