Anthony's P.O.V

"Dude, I'm serious. She really likes you." I told Brad. I was trying to get Brad to ask Britney out, but he didn't believe me that Britney likes him. He thinks I'm lying to him. Why would he think I'm lying? I don't know.

"Seriously? You really think I'm gonna believe you?"

"Why wouldn't you?" Sometimes, he makes me wanna loose my temper...

"Because Anthony," he placed his hand on my shoulder and sighed. "You lie."

He took his hand off of my shoulder and went into my refrigerator without asking. How rude.

"Uh, excuse me? Number one," I pointed to my refrigerator. "Ask next time. And number two, I do not lie!"

He put his hand on his hip and shifted his weight to one foot. He raised his eyebrows. "Really?" he said sarcastically.

"Really."

"Whatever, I'll ask her out. But if she says no because she doesn't like me, your dead."

"Please, you wouldn't even kill a fly."

"Yeah, but you're not a fly." Wow. Great comeback. Not wanting to go further with this conversation, I took my phone out of my pocket and went into my living room. I scrolled down my contact list until I found Kayla's name and texted her.

'Hey Kay. Did you find out?' I texted her. Kayla was supposed to find out if Britney really did like Brad. Instantly, she replied.

'Yeah. She does! Is Brad gonna ask her out?'

'Yup. He'll probablly ask her in school.'

'Ok. I'm so happy for them!'

I hated the fact that me and my friends were in different schools but, what are you gonna do? I was most definitly not changing schools because that would mean me having to leave Kayla. Not happening. And I wouldn't want them to come to this school because then they might ask her out. Also not happening.

I know I probably sound extremely over protective but I'm not. Its just that I am planning to ask kayla to be my girlfriend and I take a while to ask a girl to be my girlfriend. I don't know why, I just do. And by the time I ask her, she's probably gonna have a bunch of boys begging to take her out on a date. Well, she already does.

And no, she's not ugly. I don't know who told her that or why she thinks it because she's beautiful. And I really, really like her. She thinks only her sister could get the boys. Huh, she doesn't even realise how many boys like her more than her sister. Especially me. I don't even like her sister, just Kayla.

Distracting me from my conversation with my self, Brad brought a bowl with salsa and chips. Thats what he needed to get from my refrigerator?

He sat down next to me and placed the bowl on the table. "So dude, be serious. Does Britney really like me?"

I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. "Yes."

Brad just shrugged and put on some football.

Yeah!

Britneys P.O.V

As I walked into class I noticed that Brad was sitting in the seat next to mine, on the left side of the room. He usually sat on the right side of the room with his friends. I walked up to my desk and awkwardly sat down. Technically, I wasn't 'popular' so everybody looked at me and Brad sitting together. I hate being noticed. I hate it when people just look and stare at me. It's so annoying.

I looked at Brad and he had a huge smile on his face. Weirdo. Well, since I like him, he's a cute wierdo. I placed the books on my desk and smiled back at him. "Hey. What's with the huge smile?" I said in a kinda rude way. Ugh, why must I be rude?

"Just happy to see you." He still had the same smile on his face and I still feel like a jerk. I hate my life.

And guess what made me even more of a stupid jerk? The answer that I gave him. "Why?" Why? Why are you happy to see me? See how stupid that sounds?

"Well... uhh,"

"I'm sorry. Y-You don't have to answer that." I'm such a moron. I sighed and mentally slapped my self.

"Umm... can you meet me by my locker at the end of the period?"

"Sure." Its the least I can do.

Class went by pretty quickly and now it was time for lunch. I went to my locker and put my books away. As I was walking to the cafeteria, I remembered that I had to meet Brad at his locker. I quickly walked over to his locker, trying not to fall on these slippery floors. He looked so sexy, leaning there, against his locker. He didn't notice that I was there so I tapped him lightly on his shoulder which caused him to jump.

He looked at me and grinned. "Hey Britney."

"Um hi... so why did you want me to meet you here?"

"Uh, I wanted to ask you if... uhh... if you wanted to go on a date with me?"

I stood there, frozen. Brad Kaylum was asking me, Britney Stayes to go on a date with him. Oh my Lord.

"O-O-Ok. W-When." Wow, I couldn't even say two words right.. What a loser I am.

"How about Saturday at 6:00?"

"Sounds good." Very good. I was walking back to the cafeteria I realised something. I turned around and saw Brad just standing there, looking down at the floor. I was walking up to him to find out what's wrong. I tilted his head up so he was looking at me in my eyes. "What's wrong?"

He quickly straightened his posture and stood up to his full height. "No, there's nothing wrong," he assured me. "Now lets go to lunch, I'm starving." He slung his arm around my shoulder as we walked to the cafeteria, for the third time. Well, it was the third time for me. I don't know about him.

After we got our lunch, we went to our lunch tables. We don't sit with eachother at lunch either. I saw him look at me a couple of times from across the room and I couldn't stop myself from smiling. I can't wait until Saturday. Yay!

Kayla's P.O.V

"Oh my God! He asked you out?!"I yelled. Me and Britney were jumping up and down out of excitement. I was really happy for Brad and Britney.

"Yes! And now you know what this means?"

I stopped jumping and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "What."

"We need to find you a date."
