CAREFULLY OUR BREATHING
Carefully our breathing
humming birds
to a bloom
tracing your skin
in patterned strokes
Preventing
the unnecessary
twitches from
disrupting
the silent
wars
from
breaking
I sometimes
pause
only to let
your exhales pass
The battle
restarts
We then sigh our last.
