OF THE UNCOMMON

The notion

of course

is always inaccurate

he pertains

to a myth of a healer

or at least some

character who

could:

“help pick up

the broken pieces”

yet,

she refused

to accept

initially

as always

Then she gives

the nod

he proceeds

perceives

the fine

points

of

pleasure

A guarantee

of a solemn

vow

of muffled

joys;

the shortest

measure

of eternal

delight.

The notion

of course…

in the dark,

we are one.
