(A year later)(9th grade)

"Wah, Yoo Dayoung is that you?" Jaehwan gasps whenever I approach him and his girlfriend whom he'd been dating since a month ago. His eyes roam up and down my outfit. Today was our first day of freshman year and I was wearing our school uniform.

"What does it look bad?" I question him with a raised eyebrow. My fingers fly to my skirt pulling it down a bit. I hated skirts.

"No not at all, but who said you could grow up on us?" He coos coming forward squeezing my cheeks between his fingers.

I take a deep breath. "Jaehwan you have five seconds to release my face. Five, four-."

"Okay okay!" He quickly backs off placing his arm back around his girlfriend.

"Who cares about her growing up? Who said you could grow taller than me?" Hakyeon growls from the side, his signature stank face appears. He had started doing this weird yet funny face during the summer and now anytime he was messing with any of us he'd make that face.

I pat his head towering over him a bit. "You're just jealous." I stick my tongue out at him.

"Guys shut up and don't embarrass me!" Wonshik quickly says slicking his long jet black hair back. His eyes were on one of the older girls, judging from her uniform she was a senior.

"Oh does Wonshik have a crush?" Hongbin who just arrived asks. His girlfriend since 8th grade was standing beside him with a small smile on her face.

"I said don't embarrass me!" Wonshik quickly growls.

"Oh, who's that next to her?" Hakyeon suddenly shoves past me to stand beside Wonshik.

"That's her best friend." Wonshik replies drool practically dripping down his chin.

"She's so pretty." Hakyeon leans into Wonshik. "I know."

I roll my eyes. Those two are ridiculous.

"Well bye I'm heading to class so I can actually learn." I wave goodbye to the boy's girlfriends and then to Hongbin and Jaehwan.

"Wah, Dayoung wait for me. You said you'd walk me to class!" He pouts grabbing onto my arm linking our arms together.

"I'm sorry I thought you were busy staring at our senior." I flick his forehead.

"Ah, Dayoung but she's so pretty!" He rests his head on my shoulder. People were staring but I glare at them as I pass through. People are so rude.

"Hakyeon you should probably focus on studying or I'm taking your place as first in the class." I smirk towards him and he gasps.

"You wouldn't." He gives me puppy dog eyes.

"I so would. So don't get distracted." I ruffle up his hair and pull my arm away from him.

(Second semester:)

"Dayoung look it's Youngji-Noona!" Hakyeon gloats as she passes by our table.

I take a deep breath. All this talk about Youngji was starting to get annoying. She wasn't even that pretty, plus she was rude. He shouldn't go for girls like her. I don't like it.

"Yeah yeah I see her." I wave his sentence off putting my pencil back to my notes.

"Dayoung, do you think you could talk to her for me?" He finally drops the bomb. He had been hinting at it all this week and now he finally came out and asked.

I didn't want to talk to her. I didn't want him to talk to her. He should just stay single. Because if he starts dating he won't have time for me anymore. That's what happens. Hongbin and Jaehwan hang out with us less and less these days and it's because of their girlfriends.
