(Senior year)
"There done." Hyerin grins as she backs away slipping the eyeliner back into her bag.
I glance into the mirror and smile. Wow, I didn't look too bad. I tuck my hair behind one of my ears, the reflection in the mirror doing the same.
"We have like five minutes before we need to leave." Yoora says coming in from the hall.
I had spent the night with the three of them last night and somehow they talked me into wearing makeup. So here I was al dolled up and ready to go to school.
I grab my backpack and slip it on. Soohyun steps in front of me. "Take those off." She nods down towards my black leggings that I wore underneath my skirt.
"What? Why?" I ask confused.
"It's part of the we get to make you over agreement." She shrugs, putting her hand out waiting for me to hand them over.
I sigh, I quickly slip them off feeling the cool breeze between my legs. I didn't like this! Maybe it was because I wasn't used to it.
Her hands are suddenly on my waist hiking my skirt up a bit. My eyes widen. "What are you doing?" I place my hands over hers.
"Just wear it like this for one day!" She pleas, her eyes plea into mine.
I groan. "Fine but if I get in trouble for it being too short I'm going to kill you." I release her hands and she finishes what she was doing beforehand.
When we made it to school I felt the eyes of a lot of people on us. On me. I give them all looks that make them then away. What? They act like its the end of the world seeing me like this.
"Wah, Yoo Dayoung is that you?" Jaehwan's arm is slung around my shoulder from out of nowhere.
"Yes." I nod towards him.
"You look so pretty!" He examines me from head to toe. "What's the occasion?"
"We begged her to do it!" Hyerin admits from my other side.
"Oh nice job ladies!" Jaehwan high-fives each of them. "Oi, Cha Hakyeon doesn't Dayoungie look gorgeous!" Jaehwan latches onto Hakyeon at his locker.
He glances at me looking me up and down and shrugs. "That look doesn't really suit you."
I frown. "Excuse me?"
"I'm saying you shouldn't wear makeup or dress like that it looks weird." He says looking me straight in the eyes a small smile on his face as he said it.
I felt anger burrow within me. And also I felt hurt, did he just basically call me ugly?
"You're an asshole." I glare at him and take off. I head to the restroom and stand in front of the mirror. My hands shakingly smooth out my shirt before tugging my skirt down a bit.
I quickly pull some toilet paper out of one of the stalls and return to the mirror to wipe at the tears that had formed in my eyes.
Why was he so blunt and rude about it? He could've said it nicely. I've never called him ugly before. Why is he so insensitive?
I sigh to myself and head back out into the hall before moving to my locker. He just made me really mad.
I open my locker and grab my first period book out of it.
"Dayoung?" Hakyeon's voice calls from my right. I ignore him and grab my pencil pouch. "What's wrong?"
I scoff and shut my locker. I open my backpack and slip my book and pencil pouch into it before closing it and putting it on my back.
