Kira's POV

I really wanted to ask about the werewolves, but held my tongue. They saw me, or rather, knew I was in the room, and turned to look at me.

"I think it's a good time." Oliver said. Noah grinned, but I was left very confused.

"Kira, come over here a moment." Oliver commanded. I walked towards them timidly. "Ah, first you need to drink until you're full. I don't want you to kill her." Oliver said to Noah.

"Not a problem."

He looked around and saw a slave whose name I didn't know and called her over. I caught on that Oliver was going to let Noah drink from me. I wasn't nearly as nervous with him as I'd been with Oliver. After Noah had drank from the girl enough to be full, he walked back over to us, wiping his mouth.

"There, I've drank enough that my eyes are completely normal, even while I was drinking." Oliver seemed content with that.

"I'm not supposed to let anyone else drink from her, but I'll let you since I've known you longer than I have Sam and I trust you almost as much as I do him."

As Noah leaned in, Oliver added. "From the wrist." Noah flashed him a look of agitation, "Just this time." Oliver insisted.

I lifted my wrist up to Noah, which he grabbed lightly. He bit down, but I didn't flinch since I was used to my wrist being bitten. He'd closed his eyes as he'd bit down, but they snapped open and were pitch black. Oliver immediately detached Noah from me, knocking him back, but causing my wrist to get shredded. This was the second time in less than 24 hours that some part of me had been ripped open. I yelped and clutched my wrist to my waist, but it was already healing. I looked up at Noah and saw that he had a look of confusion and horror on his face.

"What the hell?"

His eyes slowly returned back to normal and he shook Oliver's hand off his shoulder.

"Alright, I'm fine now." Oliver stepped back, but as Noah took a deep breath through his nose to calm himself his eyes blackened again. Oliver tensed, but Noah closed his eyes and shook his head.

"How could I have not smelled this before? It's so strong."

"I don't know, same thing happened to me and Sam apparently. I didn't get any sleep last night because all I could smell was her." He jerked his head towards me. "Sam said I'll grow accustomed to it, but I don't know how long that'll be." Oliver said. I was a little taken aback about him saying he hadn't slept; it was no wonder he'd been up so early this morning.

"It doesn't seem possible. I can smell everywhere she's been all day! And It's so strong up close. I've never been able to distinguish a human's scent from another until her." Noah exclaimed, sounding astonished.

"That's not all. After drinking her blood just twice, I feel... stronger. Not to mention I ran faster than I think I ever have without even trying on the way to Silcon." Noah's eyes widened at Oliver's information.

"That's awesome. But why am I thirsty? I was full, and now I'm not."

"You aren't. You're appetite has just been stirred up. Sam told me that after a few times, she fills you faster than others, like you don't need nearly as much blood. Plus I don't know why, but he told me to take one big drink from her, then take one from another slave. He laughed, so I'm a little worried about what's going to happen. He told me that if I waited around an hour it wouldn't happen and for the results he wanted me to get I should do it right after." Oliver seemed to think for a moment.
