The Beginning

It was the beginning, of everything... For the first time I see his smile other than being with me...

"Zeref！" Lucy ran toward Zeref, as he turned his body towards her, Lucy could see a glimpse of a girl's hair.

"Who was that girl?" She peeked from his back, staring interestingly at the girl's figure.

"She said her name is Mavis." Lucy peeked at Zeref face and then turned her back at him. "Hmm, it's seems like you like her alot." Silent fills the atmosphere, feeling awkward, Lucy took a glance at Zeref. "She... she is the one who knows our curse, and because of her, it's the first time I can be so close to the other creatures, although they all only illusion." He closes his eyes, remembering a short yet pleasant moment in his life. "Hmm, she got my attention. I would like to see her！Zeref, when you will meet her again?" Lucy turned at Zeref and bending her body forward, looking at Zeref with her glimmering eyes.

"Tomorrow, I promised her to teach her along with her friends about magic." He said. The following day, as Zeref teaching them from far away, Lucy decided to look after them on the tree. 'Zeref, he seems to having fun teaching them.' She smiled looking down at Zeref from the tree. "Mavis, what a strange girl.'' As she said that with a smile formed on her face, Lucy jumped down and walked away silently.

"Hm?'' Mavis look behind Zeref to find nothing but a deep and dark forest. 'Maybe it's only my imagination' She started to learn her magic again.

Lalala~

Splash, splash, the sound of water being played by Lucy. "Are you sure it's okay?" She stopped and turn her head at Zeref who walks toward her. "Yes, I already told her how to use magic." he smiled. "That's not what I mean, Are you sure to leave without saying goodbye?" She asked directly now. "Yes, It's for the best.'' This time, he smiled bitterly.

Time passed, they din't believe they would meet again after that one meeting. Fate, is only Lucy can think that moment.

"So it's true, you've always had it in you... the power to walk along with me." Zeref looked at Mavis's back as she running farther and farther from his spot. "Zeref.'' Lucy walked out from the bushes and stops beside him. "I was right, Lucy, Mavis will walk along with us one day.'' He looked up at Lucy who's looking at Mavis's back. "Yep.'' Was all she can say that moment.

But, trying to revert her eyes from the truth that she is an immortal, Mavis started to stop us from attacking the villages. She wishes us to open our eyes and be her allies. But we declined it. So many times we meet, so many battles we did, her words are still the same. Until one day, after our battle, strangely Zeref went somewhere alone in the middle of night.

I know he's in love with her. I want to be her friend too but sometimes our heart are being tied by our own dark magic. Before we knew it, we killed all around us. It's the first time we met someone like her, that's why I will let him go if he says that he will live along with her.
As Lucy think about herself, Zeref and Mavis, she began to sleep.

A light footsteps could be hear. It's getting closer to Lucy. Zeref's shadow darkening Lucy's sleeping face, and he only look down sincerely at her sleeping face. "Lucy... I'm sorry...''

That was the last night of Lucy de Annafirisha, before being killed by Zeref.
