Asia in the mm

Todays the big day, I meet my mom's new boothang, the nigga thats been making her thicker and happier, I'm so happy for her, she told me she has good news to share and I'm anxious to hear.

I woke up and prepared for my day, once I got downstairs I saw my mom cooking all of her favorites ; porkchops, babyback ribs, neckbones, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, cornbread, candied yams, and her infamous sweet potato pie. I helped my mom out and started making the greens by putting them in the pot, and putting the sweet potato pie in the oven. My mother handled all the rest of the stuff.

"Alright go wash those filthy little hands of yours missy, I got this now", I happily obliged as I went to the bathroom and wash my hands.

Once I came back out I smacked her butt playfully and she started laughing, "Child, don't make me have a heart attack", I smiled

"Ima have a heart attack eating all this damn food", she smacked me upside my head and I started laughing, then the doorbell rang.

I walked over to the door and opened it, it was Jay. Right on time. I led him to the kitchen,

"Damn, it's Thanksgiving already?", before I knew it a hand went upside his head too. He turned around and looked down at my mom, I started laughing at him.

"Mom this is Jay, my boy.. Friend-"

"Her boyfriend", he said, I looked at him and he winked at me, I laughed a little bit, I never talked to my mom about him so I didn't know what she'd think. I made my plate and went to my seat but as soon as I sat down the doorbell rung, I sighed as I got back up ignoring Jay's laugh. I headed towards the door and once I opened it Chyna stood infront of me, she hugged me and came in, she hugged my mom and sat at the table.

As I was closing the door I saw Rashad , Raheim, and Lexis with Asia on her hip getting out seperate cars.

Petty.

They all walked in, and sat down, I heard Rashad and Raheim say,

"Damn momma all this food?", and in the same breath I heard my momma hit them with the rag, I bursted out laughing then I made sure no cars were around before closing the door.

I went back to the kitchen we all made our plates, then momma had blessed our food, it was the worlds longest blessing. Finally she let us dig in.

"Boy, Asia sure is growing up. Heim you better have your gun ready", my mom chuckled.

Oh shit.

I forgot to tell my mom about what happened, It just happened so fast I never wanted to think about it again.

I shook my head at my mom hoping she'd catch on, I kept on trying to give her hints to catch on to but sadly she didn't.

"Na I shouldn't, but I think Shad has his together, isn't that right huh?", he retorted, I shook my head, Rashad just shooed him off. Thank God.

"Uh Momaa these greens are good, what'd you put here?", I asked to settle the uneasiness.

"Sweety, you know exactly what I put in my greens", she said getting smart as if I didn't just help her make them

"but I invited y'all over to tell y'all something before my special man gets here", she said blushing. I gagged a little in my mouth.

"I love you all so deeply. And that's why I want all of you guys to meet him, now he's a little young but that don't mean nothing, we're both grown and fully aware of what we're doing", she preached,

"Ohhh two snaps fa' mama campbell yall", Jay said and Rashad and Raheim snapped their finger in a Z shape, which made all of us laugh. I haven't seen this in a minute. Us laughing all together. It's crazy.

"But as I was saying, I love all y'all, Y'all are like my chirren, and I'm glad I met you today Jay, and as my kids I want to let you all know that I'm adding another addition to the family, Im 3 months pregnant", I stopped smiling.

Another addition. Who wpuld've thought, my mom at age 38 would be giving birth. I've been so use to being the only child. I'm actually happy and sad, I know that she's happy though that's all I needed to know.

Just then, there was a knock at the door, I was so ecstatic to meet my moms new lover and her new baby's father. My mother ran to get the door.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, it was a message.

I was so confused, I thought he was just playing games with my mind. So I chose to ignore him for right now, I wasn't going to let him ruin my day.

"Everyone meet my baby's father", I looked up. And my body went in shock. I couldn't move, it was like my mind was speeding and my heart was racing with it.
Was God after me? Or is this just karma? Whatever it was, I wish It would go away, because I've learned my lesson.

I knew that curly hair from anywhere, I knew that caramel skin tone, smooth complexion. I could spot that from just about anywhere. How could I ever forget my abuser. The reason behind me losing my child.

And those eyes. I'd never forget those hazel eyes.
