Luke was always a happy kid. he had no worries. he got everything he ever wanted. spoiled is an understatement.
if he wanted a new TV, thats what he got. if he wanted a new bed, thats what he got. if he wanted a new phone, thats what he got. if he wanted something, he would get it. no matter how much it coast.
he met his best friend Ashton at age 6, they've been inseparable since then. they met at the park. this is how it all went down
Age ten, at the park.
luke was on the swing, kicking his feet and giggled softly. he listened to the wind and tilts his head back.
"twinkle twinkle little star" he sang softly.
he saw a boy is age with brown curly hair getting picked on by much older kids.
luke was scared but something kicked in, he marched over there. his face is stern.
"mister! mister!" luke shouted, staring up at the older boy.
the boy looked down at luke and raised an eyebrow, "are you lost? beat it."
but luke didn't move a muscle, "leave m'friend alone!"
Ashton looked at the boy with wide eyes, he just called Ashton his friend and he was standing up for him.
the taller boy laughed at luke, "or what? what are you gonna do? go tell you're mummy?"
thats what hurt the boy. he didn't have a mummy. but he didn't need to know that.
"no! me mummy is g-gone." luke huffed. the older boy just rolled his eyes, "whatever. we will get you, Irwin!"
with that the group of boys left leaving the smaller boys alone.
"t-thank you. for h-helping me." Ashton spoke softly. "it no problem. papa said always help a stranger out" luke nodded his head with such pride.
Ashton giggled, "you called me you're f-friend."
Luke just smiled widely and hums, "you is my new buddy buddy."
then they become the closets friends ever.
well that was until High School. everything changed. but let's just wait till we get there.
First day of 11th grade, age 17.
luke walked in the school smiling. he looked around for his best friend.
he frowned when he didn't spot the curly lad. he sighed, "i guess he forgot.."
the blonde walked to his first class with a frown on his face.
he didn't understand why Ashton has been distancing himself from the blonde.
did he do something?
does Ashton hate him?
what did he do?
he sat at his desk and looked around the room, taking in the faces around the class.
then he spots one he can spot out of thousands of faces.
Ashton Irwin.
he was smiling and talking (or shall i say flirting) with a blonde beauty. she was beautiful.
blonde hair, blue eyes and she was sort of pale. oh and let's not forget the nose ring.
luke looked down and thought "maybe im not important anymore."
sure maybe luke was overreacting? but maybe he wasn't.
lunch quickly came, he of course spot ashton.
who was sitting with the "popular" kids. Luke shrugged and walked over smiling widely, "Hi Ashton!"
everyone, including Ashton stared at the blonde blanky which made luke frown.
"Ashton get ride of this thing." said the blonde from earlier.
luke looked at Ashton hurt.
he wasnt standing up for him.
Ashton stood up and lead the blonde to a different table.
"Ashy.." luke whimpered, tears filled his eyes.
"don't call me that." his voice was cold and harsh.
luke didn't understand what was going on. his best friend was ditching him.
"what did i do?" the blonde asked.
"what didnt you do?" and with that ashton left the blonde.
Ashton sat with his "friends" and luke sat by himself.
Luke watched as Ashton laughed with his new found friends.
for the first time since his mum passed away, he felt heartbroken.
"friends can break you're heart too"
so i kinda like this chapter. the ending sucks.
is anyone still liking this story?
