Maddie's POV
"You can put me down now..." I offered to Josh.

"You see I would," Josh sat down on the couch with me still in his arms. "But then I wouldn't have such a nice view of your eyes." Josh winked.

I blushed. "I think you've had plenty of time for that, and plenty more time later." I crawled out of Josh's arms and sat down next to him.

Josh faked a frown.

"Come on, you'll be fine. No need to be a crybaby." I teased.

Josh chuckled a bit. "So, what movie do you want to watch?"

"I don't know, you choose."

Josh paused think. "How about this, I go make us some popcorn while you decide on a movie."

I smiled. "Okay deal."

~*~*~*~

When Josh left to make the popcorn I picked up the remote and turned on Netflix. I began to scroll through it to pick out the perfect movie.

Mean Girls? No... I'm not in the mood. The Good Dinosaur? ... I'm going to put that on my watch later list. The Fault in Our Stars? I've cried enough in front of Josh. Sydney White? I love this movie!

As Sydney White was loading, I heard the door bell ring. "Coming!" I jogged over to the door and opened it revealing Diggie with a huge grin on his face.

"Hey Rooney."

My jaw dropped. "Diggie?"

"Who's at the door?" Josh asked as he walked into the living room with the bowl of popcorn in his hands. It wasn't long till the bowl landed on the floor.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I missed you, and I needed to see you." Diggie put his arms on my shoulders. "Liv told me last week there was a big dance coming up, I didn't want leave you dateless."

"You're Diggie?" Josh asked with his arms crossed.

"Yah...who are you?"

"Name's Josh, I'm Maddie's boyfriend and I think it's best if you leave."

"Excuse me?"

I must be dreaming because my worst nightmare is coming to life.

"You heard me right. You've hurt Maddie enough times." Josh said with a stern look on his face. "I don't think you realize what you left behind when you moved to Tundrabania, and to be honest you don't deserve her."

Diggie started to get frusterated. "Maddie, you never told me you were that upset over all of this. You know if you would have I wouldn't have left."

I went to go say something when Josh butted in. "Oh but she did! But you were to busy planning out your trip!" Josh argued.

Diggie was about to shot something back at Josh but I cut him off and yelled. "Enough!"

They both looked puzzled.

"I think it's time for you both to leave." I said holding back my tears.

They then both left and I went to my couch to cry.

I pulled out my phone and called Liv, though she's on a date but she needs to know what she did was wrong. "Hey Liv." I said angrily.

"Maddie....what's wrong?" Liv asked.

"Why did you remind Diggie about the dance?"

"That was weeks ago, wait why?" Liv asked in a panic.

"Diggie came back!"

"Omg, I'm so sorry. Um okay. I'll be home and 20 minutes then we can gossip..?"

"Okay...bye."
