Miranda's POV
It's been twelve hours since I've been here, and out of those twelve hours I've cried, and thought. I didn't want to go to sleep, fearing that something might happen. My thoughts often shifted to Wesley and Carolyn. Oh how I miss them so much. The door opened and Travis strolled in.
"Hello, beautiful." I frowned at the nickname he gave me. "Don't call me that." I hissed. He smirked at me. "Whatever you want muffin." I groaned. I hope I don't have to be here long. Travis walked over and took off my chains. I looked at him surprised. "We're going to meet someone."
I slightly tilted my head in confusion. I wonder we're going to meet. My heart leaped at the thought of seeing Wesley again. I sighed. "Let's go." I snapped back to reality, and followed Travis. Maybe if I was obedient he would let me see my family. I smiled thinking that I have a family. A complete family.
I started to pay more attentions to my surroundings. We were walking down a dim lit corridor. My legs started to ache from all the walking. Boy, do I need to exercise more. We continued walking until we got to a staircase. I groaned. "Do you want me to carry you?" I turned to Travis, and saw him smirking. I scoffed and started down the stairs. After was seems like five hours, I finally reached the bottom.
Travis walked past me, and towards a huge door. He held the door open, and looked at me. "Well?" I nervously walked through, and immediately shielded my eyes from bright daylight. "Let's go." I turned to Travis, and followed him. "Get in."
I gawked at the limo in front of me as I got inside. There were elegant appetizers and champagne sitting inside. My stomach started rumbling, and I tried fighting the urge. I groaned at the delicious smell. "Help your self." Travis said, while scooting in next to me. I scooted away from him, and stuffed my face. Travis chuckled. "Slow down before you choke." I looked at him, and swallowed my food.
"I would rather choke than be here with you." Hurt appeared in his eyes, and guilt started to rise inside of me but I shrugged it off. I continued to stuff my face when the limo stopped in front of a familiar house. The door of the limo opened, and pulled me out. I half gasped and half screamed. I struggled, and fought against the mystery man. "Miranda!"
I felt a sudden pang in my neck, and felt myself get dizzy. I felt weak, and I fell into darkness.

Travis's POV
I got out of the limo, and took out my gun. I shot the three guys in front of me. I ran over to Miranda, looked at Miranda's body on the ground. I felt her pulse. I sighed in relief as I felt her heart beat. A jolt of pain filled my body. I looked at my arm, and blood was pouring out. I got up, and held my gun out in front of me. "Hello, friend." I turned around, and came face to face with him.
"This was not the plan." My breaths were heavy from losing blood.
"I know. I just wanted to have a little fun." He smirked at me. I let out a low growl. He snapped his fingers. "Take her away." One guy came and carried Miranda away. I couldn't do anything to help her due to the loss of blood.
"I guess I'll leave you here to die." He walked away, and my vision got blurry. I wobbled towards the house, but failed and fell on the ground right before blacking out.
