Miranda's POV
I watched as Wesley ran out the door. "What's his problem?" I turned and looked and Travis. I just shook my head.
I decided not to let Wesley's actions ruin my daughter's birthday. I smiled and passed out the cake and ice cream. I laughed as Carol stuffed the cake in her mouth.
"Does your daughter always eat like that?"
I turned and looked at the kids' mothers. I gulped. "No." Debbie, one of the mothers, smirked.
I looked around and saw all the other kids using their forks and spoons to eat. I sighed.
"Look. She's just a child."
"Well yes. A child who needs discipline."
I pinched the bridged of my nose. I was getting very irritated. I looked back up at the five of them. "I know how to descpline my child."
They all laughed. I glared at all of them. "Having your child eating without a utensil is not showing discipline."
I sighed. "Well telling me how to raise my child is none of your business, and its really petty to critize my child's behavior just because you think I'm too young to take care of my child. If you think telling me how I'm doing everything wrong is going to get me to breakdown, then you are very stupid mothers." I smirked at how shock they looked and continued on. "If you don't like the way I raise my child then I will see you at the door."
We stared at each other for a minute before anyone said anything.
"Well fine. I'm taking my child home, and this will be the last time I will allow my child around yours."
I watched as she grabbed her child and headed put the door. The others followed her except one. I tilted my head confused. She walked up to me and smiled.
"I'm so sorry about that. I'm Jamie by the way. If you don't mind, I would like to stay. I don't care what the others think. Jack has changed since he's met Carolyn. " I smiled and looked at Carolyn playing with a handsome blond boy.
I looked back at her. "Thank you. It means a lot." I looked at the empty chairs and sighed. "Well at least my daughter's birthday party isn't completely ruined."
Jamie laughed and I looked at her. "Sorry. Its just that you should have seen some of the ladies' ideas of birthday parties. Debbie took everyone camping for her son's second birthday and everyone ended up itching a lot because she chose a camp ground near poison ivy. " I laughed and Jamie joined in.
"Wow. I guess that is worse."
I loooked around and saw Travis nowhere in sight. I gulped. I heard a commotion coming from outside. I raced towards the door, and opened.
Wesley was lying on the ground, blood pouring from out of his nose. Travis had a black eye and Liam was trying to calm Stacy down. I ran to help and wondered, What happened?
