|Chapter 6|

Marshall's POV

"Wanna go out?" Aden, my bro, asking Fi out? Ohhh Noo.

"Uh, well, duhh, mm..." Fi stuttered? Why did she stutter?

I flew down in the crowd and landed next to the nervous Bunny. I wrapped my arm around her waist and looked at Aden.

"Nah dude, I asked her out first." 

Fi nodded and gave him an apologetic smile.

"Oh okay.. Need a ride home Fionna?"

"I can take her home, see yah at school bro."

He nodded and stomped away. I smirked at his retreating back and looked down and Fionna.

"I'm tired Marshy." She whispered as she wrapped her arms around me. "I wanna go home."

"Whats with the nickname bunny?"

"You call me bunny, I call you Marshy. Deal with it." She mumbled, smiling sleepily at me.

I grinned back at her and picked her up, bridal style. I flew up and left, although she didn't seem to mind. All she did was snuggle into my chest as I flew her home.

"Here we are Fi." I plopped her on her front porch and stared down into her crystal blue eyes.

"Hmm, thanks for the "ride" home Marshall."

"No problem bunny. How about I pick you up tomorrow 'round 5?"

"Sounds good, see you then." She smiled and disappeared into her house.

I stood in front of her house for a minute and finally starting walking home. That's right. I walked.

Fionna's POV

I woke up bright and early to the sound of Cake shuffling on downstairs to the kitchen. I got up and headed for the bathroom. Quickly brushing my teeth and hair. When I finished freshening up, I went downstairs to greet my motherly sister.

"Mornin' sugar."

"Morning Cake."

"I have some of my famous...BACON...PANCAKES!" 

"Cake your so dramatic." I snatched a stack of pancakes and poured some syrup onto the top. Cake giggled and gave me a fork. I started devouring the stack 'till there was only 1 and a half left.

"That's all you left for me?"

"Mhmm."

"Thanks..." Such a sarcastic women.

I grabbed a cup of orange juice and washed the pancakes down.

"CAKE! I almost forgot! I'm going on a date!" I squealed.

"WHAT! My baby's all grown up! Who is it?"

"Marshall Lee."

"Oooh, hes in a band, baby I don't know... Isn't he a vampire too? Oh no, I can't let you go."

"C'mon Cake! You should've seen him! He was nice and protective, and not once did he try to bite me or anything!"

She sighed and thought for a minute. "Fine, but you better not be going up them tiers."

Tiers? Would did she mean by that?

"Cake? Tiers? Whats that?"

"Uhh, I said too much...you can learn later sugar." And with that she went towards the door.

"I'm going by Mono's place. Call me if ya need me!" She then left, closing the door behind her. It was 11:48. Guess I should clean around the house to make time speed up. I picked up every little thing that was out of place and put it where it was supposed to be. I got all the dirty clothes lying on the floor and washed them, washed the dishes and made the beds. Hmmph. Its only 1:05. Guess I should pick out something to wear. I headed upstairs into my room and dug through my closet. Mostly blue things. Because well, blue is my favorite color. I finally found a black sweatshirt with a Nirvana logo, dark gray jeggings and yellow high tops. I went towards the bathroom and took a shower, washing my hair in the process. I blow dried my hair and put it into a ponytail. I threw on my clothes and went downstairs. 3:56. Eh, I'll watch some T.V before he shows up.

Uh oh... what if he forgot about me? What if he realized I'm not as pretty as he thought I was and found anothrr girl? I bit my lip and tried to hold back tears.. I looked at the clock. It's only 5:22..

Ding Dong

I sprang up rrom the couch and ran to the door, answering it. There he stood in all his sexy glory. What can i say? I was relieved he hadn't forgotten about me. He was leaning against the door frame, a smirk plastered on his face.

"Ready to go bunny?

"Sure am." I grinned, taking a small step forward.

He held out his hand and I gladly took it. I locked the door behind me and we were walking, talking, laughing.

"So Marshall, where we headin'?"

"You'll see bunny."

"Ughh c'mon!" I groaned, dramatically throwing my hands into the air.

"Patience young Bunny."

"Harrumph..."

We kept walking for about 10 minutes when he stopped and turned to look at me.

"Close your eyes."

"What? Why?" I looked at him suspiciously.

"Because, Bunny, its a surprise." He rolled his eyes and waited.

"Ugh fine..."

"Don't peek."

"I'll try..." I said sarcastically.

He then put his hands over my eyes and nudged me forwards.

"Okay Bunny, you ready?"

"YES! Now show me!!!"

He uncovered my eyes and I swear it was the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed.
