Fionna's POV
I sat at a park bench near home and was just... thinking. Like, if you were in my shoes, what would you say to your sister if your boyfriend thought differently of your stupidity? Maybe, "Hey sis! Can you go kick some sense into my ass-hole of a boyfriend?" or "Cake! I made a bitchy mistake and I need you to fix it!" How about, no.
I stuffed my face into my hands and sobbed quietly. Until I heard a car pull up in front of me.
"Fionna?" A voice asked.
I kept my face in my hands and shook my head no. I heard a car door open then shut with a forcful thud. The person sat in front of me and put a hand on my knee. That's when I look up to find Aden, searching for something in my eyes.
"Are you okay?" He asked, worriedly.
I shook my head and wiped my tears, sitting up straight. "No."
He took me up in his arms and sat me in the passenger seat, making me snuggle up against it.
"Do you want me to take you home?" He asked, stroking my hair softly.
I shook my head once again. I don't think now's the time to confront Cake. He nodded and started the car, and drove down the road towards a giant house. Well, not house really. More like a mansion. But I don't care at the moment, all I want to do is sleep. I laid my head on Aden's lap and slowly drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
Marshall's POV
I hesitatnly knocked on their front door and held my breath until Cake opened the door.
"Hey... Marshall? Where's Fionna?" She asked, looking behind me.
"She's not here?" I asked, my eyes widening.
Her face turned worried and she shook my up by my shoulders. "What?! You don't know where she is?" She asked. "Where's my baby?!"
I didn't focus on her. My mind was just clouded. Is she still back at my place?
"Cake, I'm going to check if Fionna is still at my cave. Try and look around her friend's houses or local places. I made a mistake and I want to fix it." I instructed as clearly and quickly as I could.
She nodded and shut the door, locking it and running down the sidewalk, tripping a few times as she did. I shook my head and flew as fast as I could back towards my cave.
"Fionna?!" I yelled, practically throwing the door off its hinges.
I searched every possible place she could be in the cave and inside my little cottage. No sign of her. Not even the faintest scent of her. I flew back towards their house and sniffed around for her scent.
Nope. I can't find her.
I collapsed onto their porch steps and sobbed softly, hunched over, my eyes sealed shut.
"Where can my bunny be?" I choked out.
I heard small padding footsteps and I quickly looked up, wiping away my tears, Cake ran frantically towards me, her breathing ragged.
"Do you know where she is?" I asked, softly.
She shook her head, unable to speak. Her breathing then went back to it's normal pace and she sighed.
"I looked everywhere! I asked all around, no one knows where she is!" She wailed, clutching to one of the porch posts.
I soon felt my butt vibrate and I took my phone out. It was a text from Aden.
If you want to see your precious bunny again, you better hurry.
I dropped my phone and quickly stood up.
"That motherfucker stole Fionna!" I yelled.
"Who?!" Cake asked, scared for Fionna.
"That bitch, Aden!" I growled, pulling forcefully at the ends of my hair.
I paced the ground and looked for possibilities of where he could be hiding her. At his house? No, too obvious. The dark woods? No, he's too much of a coward to go there. The abandoned warehouse? Nope. His parents' place?
Something in my mind clicked. Of course he'd take Fionna to a giant mansion that has holding cells down in their basement. Or shall I say, dungeon. I turned to Cake and told her everything. A plan. The place. Where to meet. Everything.
We're getting Fionna back. And no one can take her away from me once I have her.
No one.
No comment. Sorry. I suck. 《Edited for your enjoyment》
