I will never be the same without you...

Walking into school the next day was one of the hardest I've had to do since a long time. Never did I thougt that I would say goodbye to this place,  say goodbye to my home. I alway believed that I would stay here forever.

I never liked saying goodbye, it was a word I hated using. Instead I said see you later or see you soon because to me goodbye meant you were leaving for good and I never wanted to feel like I'm seeing someone for the last time. I probably hated it because my fear was losing someone close to me.

'Hey, Kat are you ok?' Someone says interrupting my thoughts.

I jump from fright and I would've gave planted onto the floor if it weren't for for my saviour. I look up to see Ben usual smiley face looking down at me.

"So I heard that you're moving to New York?" Ben asks giving me a faint smile. Then the thought hit me. If I'm going to New York, Eva's coming too and that means Ben is left all by himself.

'Oh my God Ben! What are you going to do when we are gone?'

'Kat, you do realise that I have friends other than you?' He says annoyed like.

'Yes I know that Mr. Popular, but it's always been the three musakteers now it's gonna be two musakteers in New York and the lonely musakteer in London looking for survival!'

'Kat you're being overdramatic. I'll be fine. We'll Skype everyday, text and Dm each other. You can't get rid of  me that easily.'

'What about you and Eva. Beva. It's going to sink when we move. Eva will probably find a fit looking New york guy and you'll be wishing we never left!' I say deseparate to make him think that it's a bad idea. He frowns at this.

'There's no Eva and I, it doesn't exist!' Ben exclaims.

' What doesn't exist.' Eva asks joining out conversion.

'I don't know, ask Ben!' I mutter solemnly.

'um... aliens!'

'Ben! you and I both know that aliens do exist. we've had this argument already.' Eva exclaims and Ben sighs in relief.

Before I could say anything else the bell rings, signalling that its the start of peroid 1.

'Lets just head to class before I get a detetion on my last day here.'

................................................................................................................................................................

'Are you sure you've got everything'

'Yes mum, for the tenth time I've packed everything I need' I reply.

'Are you sure because once we leave there is no way you are getting anything you leave here back!'

'I'm sure. I even asked Bert a couple of times if I've packed everything. Isn't that right bert?' I say patting my trusty suitcase. 'I have a feeling Bert and I are going to become great friends during the next couple of days.' I hear Eva snickering in the background and Mum scowls at me.

'Katrina, this not a joke!' Mum exclaims.

'I know mum, I'm being very serious right now!' I answer back giving her a serious look.

'I give up! I' going to see if your brother needs help as he won't as annoying as you!' With that she pinches my nose and walks off.

Soon after everyone if packed and ready we head to the airport. Listening to twenty on pilots play into my earphones, I look out the window watching my home town pass before my eyes. Even thoguh I'm sad that I'm leaving, I've always had this dream that I would travel around the world, exploring different cultures. This dream probably came from the fact that I've never travelled in my whole life as my parents never really had the time or money to go anywhere. The car comes to a halt and it takes me a second to realise that we are at the airport.

It now or never.

Ben, who decided to tag along with us the airport to say our last goodbye, helps us get our suitcase out of the taxi and onto the entracne of heathrow airport. I look up at the sky, watching planes fly into the sky. I turn to my family to find Ben pushing Bert along.

'Ben, Let go of Bert right now!' I demand, glaring at him.

'Who?'

'Her suitcase, you better hand it over to her before she starts to scream.' Eva exclaims. Ben quickly hands it over, knowing that Eva was serious about the screaming part. I've been obsessed with screaming ever since I started watching season 3 of teen wolf. I still can't believe I lived this long without knowing that teen wolf existed. I mean, Have you seen Stiles Stilinski and his jeep? I probably get my sarcasm from him.

I give him a smug look and walk off, following my parents inside to the check in. We put our big luggage through, so its secured into the plane and I'm forced to say a quick goodbye to Bert before sending him to New York. The employer in the check in gave me a weird look and I glared back at her. Harsh, I know but I always get weird looks from strangers and it always get on my nerves. I like to think I'm unique not weird. Anyway everyone is weird in their own little way, I just decide to act my type of weird publicly.

After we've checked in, we head towards the airport security checks. I look at Ben when I realised that this is the time where we say goodye to Ben. Tears start to appear in my eyes and I hug Ben fiercely. In his arms I look up and notices the tears sparkling in his eyes and my heart breaks. I finally pull away promising Ben that I'll skype him as soon as I arrive in New york. Eva is next to say goodbye to Ben. She stares into Ben's eyes for a few seconds then breakdown crying. She gives Ben a quick goodbye hug and walks off to the security check. Eva has never been the best at saying goodbye. She hates goodbyes more than me but tries to hide it but I'm quite observant and I know its breaking her inside the say goodbye. Ben gives me a sad smile.

'You know Eva cares really, it just really hurts for her to say goodbye.' I say to him trying to cheer him up

'Yeah, But I can't help but hope for a better meaningful goodye from her.'

'I know.' I say sadly. Eva suddenly stops in her tracks and turn around. In one fluid motion she runs into Ben's arms and kisses him passionately. Ben is shocked at first but then snaps out of it and kisses her back. Giving them the privacy they need I excuse myself with a small smile on my face  and walk into the security check. Its not until after all my family is checked by the security for Eva to walk into the security check with a wide smile on her face. No having any time to ask her what happened, I remind myself to remeber to ask Eva for details later.

Th speaker annouces that we can now board the plane and I smile at Eva.

'Lets go to New york!'
