Don't go breaking my heart...
Walking to the lesson before lunch I tell Zara about everything that happened with Grayson. Apparently after Grayson dragged away Zara followed us with my books but then she heard me yelling at us but walked away giving us some privacy. However that doesn't stop her from finding out every single detail of what happened.
"That was a bit harsh don't you think?" Zara says trying not to offend me.
"I know and I regret ever saying it but when I walked into form he completely ignored and pretended I didn't even exist!"
"Wait what is form?" Zara asks giving me a confused look.
"Oh you know... Homeroom we just call it form back in London."
"That's so cool!" Zara announces looking intrigued. I regret ever saying the word 'form' because all through science Zara keeps asking me random questions about what I call stuff.
"Ok Zara I've had enough with your question, yes we call restrooms toilets or the loo!" I snap at her quietly so the teacher doesn't hear me. Zara looks at me weirdly but doesn't say anything. After a few minutes she starts talking again.
"I can't believe that fanny packs are in style again I mean they try to make them look cool but no one are going to buy them" I burst out laughing causing everyone to look at me and the teacher giving me a glare. I turn back towards the board ignoring the stares especially one coming from the back of the classroom, aka Grayson. I look at Zara and I almost start laughing again.
"Do you know what a Fanny means in England?"
"No?" She says.
"Well it basically means a ladies private parts." I whisper to her. Her face turns all red and her reaction is priceless that I start laughing again which unfortunately makes the teacher snaps.
"Both of you detention afterschool!" He yells and my mouth drops open. How have I got a detention already on the second day. I look over at Zara and she looks like she is going to cry. I think she has never had a detention before. Feeling guilty I try to do the right thing.
"Sir don't give Zara a detention, it was just me talking!" I tell him but he gives me a unconvinced look.
" Sir she is telling the truth, I was watching them." Jacob speaks up and I send him a grateful look. He must be the teachers pet because he dropped the topic and Zara now doesn't have a detention. I sigh and relief and once the lesson finishes I thank Jacob. He just smiles and walks off.
We head to the cafeteria but Zara stops me before I walk in.
"It's kind of embarrassing... But I'm not exactly popular so I don't really have any friends and sit with no one at lunch!" Zara Explains.
"That's perfect!" I say and walk off the line. To be honest I'm glad. I know I want to make more friends but t least no one else will think I'm weird. We casually walk into the cafeteria and I notice a couple of people staring at me ; Mainly Lisa and her clones. I keep my head down and walk to the lunch line. I feel someone tap me on the shoulder and I quickly turn around bash my head against their head. I groan rubbing my head lightly. I look up and notice the guy I bashed into earlier today.
"Hey, Girl who can't stop rambling." He says.
"Hey guy who can' stop bashing into me." I reply with a chuckle. I grab a tray and start to fill my plate with the first thing I grab. He explains that he usually never goes into the cafeteria and today was suppose to be an off day.
"Well today is your lucky day. There is a space on my table. Its only me and my new friend Zara."
"Sure." He agree and follows me to my table. I flop down on the seat next to Zara and the guy I bashed into sat opposite us. Zara eyes widen and she looks like she is going to pee herself. I kick her under the seat and she faces me.
"Why did you invite Zac to sit with us?" Zara whispers really quietly so Zac can't hear us. At least now I know his name.
"It's fine, It was the only person I kind of made friends with other than You."
"I know it's just that... I've had a crush on him ever since freshman years."
"Freshman is when you join High school at the age of 14, right?" I ask, wanting to get my facts right.
"Yes!" She answers exasperatedly and I raise my eyebrow. "I've only spoke to him twice and I choked both times!" She whisper yells turning red.
"Ok, how about I introduce you two again!" Before Zara could protest I turn to Zac who giving us weird looks.
"OK this is Zara and Zara this is Zac!" I introduce smiling.
"Hey..." Zara says meekly giving him an awkward wave. She gives me a dirty look and I roll my eyes and notice Zac giving me a questioning look, probably because I know his name and he didn't even tell me. Thanks a lot Zara. We eat our lunch while I get to know Zac and Zara more. hen the bells go I groan and reluctantly walk to class. The lesson goes fast and I now find myself treading to detention. I walk in an find no one in the classroom. I debate whether I should bunk off detention or not. I decide not to, because I know my mum will be mad and I'm not in the mood to get moaned at. The thing with my mum once she starts moaning ad telling me off she never stops,. She goes on about how it's disrespectful and when she was my age she wouldn't even dare think about bunking off school. I can faintly ear my mum going on about how she would've dreamed having the privileges I have and I shiver.
I take a seat at the front of the classroom, slip on my headphones and lay my head the desk and slowly drift off to sleep until...
"THE BOYS AE BACK!" An annoying but husky voice yell and I roll my eyes. I just wanted one peaceful hour. I groan out loud Grayson, Jacob and Brad gaze lands on me.
"Look who the cat dragged." Brad spits out ad I glare at him.
"Is that the best you got. It's so cliché!" I state and the he did a double take. I try to hold my laugh while his mouth open and closes like a fish. I think I'm the first person the talk back to Brad Whitmore. Jacobs steps in and bounces towards me.
"Hey Kitty Kat, what are you doing here?" Jacob asks and I raise my eyebrow.
"Wasn't you the one who helped me get a detention?" I state and a light bulb goes off in his head. All three boys sit beside me and I roll my eyes but go back to my music. Noticing Grayson not talking for once I look over at him and he looking at the clock with a bored expression. Isn't he suppose to be annoying me right now. When has anything stopped Grayson from doing what he wants.
"Grayson... Grayson are you ok.?" I asked kind of concerned.
"Who are you and why are you talking to me weirdo." He snarls. Ouch, I totally deserved that one.
"Grayson are you serious right now!" I exclaim glaring at him.
"Only doing what you wish your highness." He says sarcastically and I now I went too far. Before I can apologise he looks at the clock and storms out of the classroom mumbling something about it being a waste of time. Brad and Jacob look at each before running out of the classroom chasing after Grayson like lost puppies. I would of laughed at the sight if I wasn't in a bad mood. I look out at the window and it suddenly starts heavily raining and I groan yet again. I have to walk home in this weather. Just my luck...
