I'm falling so I'm taking my time in my ride ...

Something gently tickled my nose as I sleep. I don't know what it is or who it could be but it was starting to get annoying. I couldn't stop it though because I was in a half sleep state and I couldn't physically move. The tickling continued for a couple of minutes until I decided that enough was enough. I roughly shove the object tickling me and slowly try to fall back asleep just to be interupted by the tickling feeling again.

My family knows better than to wake me up at this time in the morning so it had to be someone else. I suddenly freeze in fear, fully wake. This means there's a intruder in my room. I peek one eye open to find a familiar face smiling down at me with a feather in their hand. The jerk! I shoot out of bed and violently slap my intruder across the head.

'What are you doing in my room!' I whisper yell at Grayson, not wanting to wake up my parents if they are not awake already.

'It's time for you to wake up. If you don't remeber we've got school today!' I groan at the word school. I forgot that it's my first day of school. It's probably the fact that Eva doesn't start her new school until tomorrow.

'By the way, looking good Kat!' Grayson adds unashamedly checking me out. That's when I realise that I just wearing a really short shorts that are hidden beneath a oversized t-shirt that either belonged to Ben or Carter. I start to blush, hiding behind my bed which doesn't really do much good.

'Stop checking me out Miller!' I cry out chucking a pillow at him. 'How did you even get in here.'

'I climbed through the window!' He answers back, sounding pretty pleased with himself. I look towards the window, noticing our rooms are right next to each other and both Windows are opened. Jerk!

'How did I end up living next to a stalker!' I mutter under my breath while Grayson makes himself comfortable on my bay window and I give him a exasperated look. Is he for real?

'You need to go, like now!' I tell him pushing him towards the window hoping he will leave.

'What makes you think that I want to leave! I just got comfortable.' He says giving a look that tells me that he's not going to leave anytime soon.

'What if I throw a stick, would you leave?' I say sarcastically, getting fed up with him. He chuckled at my sarcasm but shakes his head. Giving up I grab my clothes and towel and head to my ensuite, ignoring Grayson who is smugly sitting, staring at me.
I try to have a peaceful bath, but I can't knowing that Grayson is next door doing who knows what. I quickly change into a pair of skinny jeans and a crop grey sweater. I put on some marscara and foundation and look at my reflection. Once I think I look decent, I walk out of my ensuite to find Grayson peacefully reading Looking for Alaska.

'I didn't take you as a guy who reads.' I say admiredly.

'There's a lot you don't know about me!' He says mysteriously and He gazes off for a minute, going into his own world. Snapping out of it, he starts smirking at me.
'Ready to go princess?' He asks innocently but the sparkle in his eyes tells me that he's just trying to get on my nerves.

'Whatever... and don't call me princess!' I walk downstairs into he kitchen to find that mum and dad went to the bakery while Eva, Layla, Carter, Sarah and Jack are soundly sleeping upstairs. I pour myself some leftover coffee my mum left before she went to the bakery. My mum and I are addicted to coffee as much as Lorelai and Rory from Gilmore girls, maybe even more. The rest of the family didn't really understand our addiction as they think it tastes disgusting but I don't know what I would do without it. I sit on the islanda and switch on the tv in the kitchen watching reruns of full house. Grayson walks into the kitchen and stands in front of the tv.
