Tay couldn't believe it. This entire plan just went down the drain. It was useless. Tyler only wanted to call her all this time to break it off and ask her if they could just be friends. Of course, she said no because she felt that it would be too hard for her to try and sustain a friendship as twisted as theirs. But that wasn't why she was upset and crying on the bus's bathroom floor. No,the reason she was crying is because she realised something she hadn't before. She was in love. She was in love with the one guy she never thought she could be in love with..Alex. But she couldn't tell him that. The only reason they did any of this was for him to get Lisa back. She knew he wouldn't throw that away just for some girl who took things too seriously. But now the jig was up. They didn't have to pretend to be together anymore. The secret never got out,like Alex had promised,and Tay's reputation was restored. So why didn't she feel relieved? "Tay?" Alex called out as he walked on the bus. Today was the day that Alex was going to tell her that he wanted to make it real. He didn't want to pretend to date her. He wanted the real thing. But right when he got on the bus,he could tell that something wasn't right. Normally,she'd walk out and nod or give some type of greeting. But the only greeting the boy got was crying coming from the bus lavatory. He frowned and made his way over,knocking. "Tay? Is that you?" The crying stopped and it was quiet for a moment until he heard her voice whimper,"Y-yeah. What do you want,Alex?" He almost jumped out of his skin at the harshness of her voice,it usually gave him the good kind of goosebumps but now it just made him want to abondon ship. "I just wanted to talk." Alex mumbled. Within two minutes,a red and puffy-eyed Tay swung open the door. "Talk about what?" He bit his lip but decided to go for it anyway. "The deal. Look,i don't think i want to fa-" Tay glared at him and pushed past him. "The deal's off." Alex stared at her as she walked out of the lounge and to the front door,him quickly chasing after her. "What do you mean the deal's off?" She stopped abruptly,causing him to almost tackle her before he regained his balance. Tay swivled around. "I mean the deal is off." She didn't even want to waste her energy on explaining it. Right now, she had a show to do. Even though she is left with a broken heart,she couldn't let all of the fans down. Tay turned again and power walked away to stage and Alex stood there silently,watching her leave. He wished he wasn't frozen and actually chased after her..but he didn't. He knew he would have to see her in two minutes,though. He would try to get a rise out of the crowd to help win her over. Maybe it'll change her mind.
"..I'm not ready to run,can't let you go to waste. No,no,no,no.." The entire song she avoided coming within an inch around Alex. He didn't really understand why she broke the deal but Alex was gonna find out one way or another. He paid Rob to take the guys out to Wal Mart for some useless shit he really didn't need and asked Jordan what was going on with her. Tay was talking to fans and signing things so it would take a while before she left. Jordan sighed. "Listen,Alex,if i tell you,you didn't hear it from me." Alex nodded and promised not to say anything. "She told me earlier that she just found out that she's in love." Alex's heart sank and his stomach ran to hide in his throat. "O-oh. W-with who?" He scratched the back of his neck and looked at his shoes. "Funny you should ask,actually,because she's in love with you." Alex's head snapped up and his eyes cracked wide open with suprise. "W-with me?!" Jordan laughed and nodded. Alex felt like he was on cloud nine. That's why Tay called off the deal. She didn't want to pretend either. "Do you feel the same?" Alex blushed at the sudden question and nodded. "Then go after her,man. What are you waiting for?" Alex watched as Tay retreated to the bus. He nodded and quickly ran in after her and before she could go back to her bunk,he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a passionate kiss. He gave it all he had. He just really wanted to show her how he felt all summer but he could never put it into words. Alex was about to pull away until her felt her kiss back with the same amount of passion,wrapping her arms around his neck and his slinked around her waist. He slowly pulled away and rested his forehead on hers,closing his eyes and her doing the same. "Tay,forget the stupid deal. I don't want Lisa. I don't want anyone that isn't you. I want a real relationship with you. Will you be my girlfriend,Taylor Jardine." She smiled up at him and pecked his lips. "Of course,Alexander Gaskarth." Alex's smile only grew as he kissed her once again,spinning her around. This was what he was waiting for. This whole summer he wanted something real with Tay,now he finally had it and he couldn't be any happier.
