It was a cold and breezy day, King's Cross station was as busy as ever, bustling with people. The Hearthscrambles were walking towards Platform 9 and 10, each with their nose in the air. All except one. The youngest of them who was gazing around with a curious expression. Her dark brown hair blew against the wind as she caught up with the rest of her family. "Hurry up, Celestia! And stop fidgeting, would you?" Natalia Hearthscramble snapped at her daughter. "Anastasia! Lead your siblings, quickly! We haven't got all day!" "Yes, Mother," Anastasia, the 3rd oldest among the Hearthscramble children replied. She pushed her trolley which had her Snowy owl, Athena, through the wall between Platforms 9 and 10. Instead of crashing into the wall (and probably embarrassing herself), she went right through.

Matthias followed behind, and it was finally Celestia's turn. Although she knew that she would not crash, she felt hesitant. She closed her eyes nervously, and to her surprise, she arrived at Platform 9 ¾. The scarlet Hogwarts Express was there surrounded by a sea of nameless faces. "This year is going to be like last year, except that its finally my turn to board it." Celestia murmured to herself. "Celestia! Stop daydreaming, you, silly girl!" Natalia Hearthscramble chided shrilly. Celestia quickly went to her mother looking slightly fearful. "Y-yes, M-mother?'' she stammered. ''Listen,'' This time it was the intimidating voice of her father, Leonardo Hearthscramble. ''Listen, you're a pure-blood, so act like one. Keep your distance from those filthy Mudbloods.'' He said in a calm tone. Celestia frowned when she heard the word 'Mudblood' as she never approved of the way to act like a pure-blood. But, alas, no one ever cared about her opinions for she was an outcast even in her family.

While her family had either blonde or black hair, she had dark brown hair. All of her siblings had steely grey eyes like her parents but she had sapphire-blue ones. Sometimes she even wondered if these were her biological parents in the first place. But that was when she needed to remember the quote her parents always taught her since she was little; Curiosity kills the cat. But who knows, maybe one-day curiosity could even save the cat. But Celestia's thoughts were interrupted by Anastasia. ''Come, Celestia,'' she said coldly. Without hesitation, Celestia followed suit. Anastasia was Celestia's favourite even though she isn't exactly 'caring'. But compared to the rest, Anastasia was the least-worst. Matthias, who was two years older than Celestia simply detested her, showing no sign that he was trying to hide it. Either that, or he was really bad at supressing emotion. The twins, who left Hogwarts ages ago, Natalie and Nathanial, love pranking people. But their idea of 'fun' is watching others in pain. The oldest was Daniel. Celestia was pretty sure that he didn't even know that she existed.

When they were aboard the Hogwarts express, Anastasia left with her friends without even bothering to say goodbye, while Matthias or 'Matthew' glared at her before leaving. Celestia's hopes dropped immediately. She knew instantly that it was going to be a rough day.
