Chapter 19

     'Yeah, what is it?' Lance asked, perfectly cheerful. Claire narrowed her eyes, there was a glint of something in her amber eyes, like she knew something, but Celestia could not decipher what it was.

     Putting that thought aside, she said, 'Can we go to a more private place?' Lysander raised an eyebrow but the three of them obliged. 'How about our room?' Lance suggested. 'Perfect.'

     At the boy's room, everyone was seating on either of the twin's bed. Celestia took a deep breath and started, 'What I'm going to tell you is rather important and you have to promise not to tell anyone.'

    Claire tensed and oddly, her body stiffened, as if she were nervous. Which was odd, Claire was rarely nervous, this meant that she was hiding something, or it could be Celestia being nosy and over-analyzing.

    'So, during the match when Harry started acting weird, I know who's behind it. It's Professor Snape. Guess what? He's the same person who let the troll in.'

    Lysander's eyes widened in shock and Lance gasped dramatically. But Claire's expression was mostly unreadable. It was almost relief. Why would Claire be relieved to hear such news? Unless...

     Unless she was hiding something...

    'Why would Snape let a troll lose? He is rather nasty, but he never struck me as the type of person to play Halloween pranks on anyone,' Lance said. 'He didn't do it as a prank. He did it as a distraction.'

    'From what?' Lysander asked. 'To get the opportunity to steal something that Dumbledore has been protecting,' Celestia replied grimly. She explained everything to the three of them, careful not to leave out any minor detail.

     After the end of the explanation, Lysander asked, 'Can we tell someone like Professor McGonagall?' Which ended him getting a smack on the shoulder from Lance.

    'Were you even paying attention? Of course not! If we tell her, she'll ask why we know all of these things, which we, by the way, are not supposed to know.' Lance said.

      Claire had been quiet the whole time. 'What do you think?' Celestia asked Claire. 'I say that we wait a bit longer before really doing anything. We watch him but nothing more. Lance is right, we can't tell anyone else or else it would make the situation worse. Besides, no adult would believe a group of first years,' Claire replied grimly.

    'Hermione did say something about firstly finding out what Dumbledore is trying to protect. And it has something to do with a man named Nicolas Flamel. She also said that since she, Harry and Ron are all staying behind at Hogwarts, they will try to dig out more information about him,' Celestia added.

    'Is anyone staying behind?' The twins shook their heads. Claire was going back too. Celestia had to go back, it was not much of a choice really.

     In the end, they all decided to go with Claire's suggestion, though they'd try to do some research at home as well.

Before y'all brutally murder me for not updating for like almost a week, hear me out: I have been writing, but these are the crucial chapters which are important to the main plot of the story, so I have to write everything out to see the flow. 

    

Besides, this is a double update and the next chapter would be way longer. It was so long that I had to split it in two so Chapter 20 was split to make Chapter 20 and 21. Those two chapters are not only important or this book but also for the following six. 

If I didn't include it, you guys would be bloody confused during the next books.
