Chapter 2

Half asleep, I checked the time, it was 6:00 am. I got out of bed and into the shower.

As i got out, i wore my blue converse, blue shorts and a white tank top.

*Beep Beep*

I looked over at my bed, it was a message from Chelsea.

You busy?

No, not really. Just thinking of new pranks. Jordan pranked me yesterday. Shooting me with paintballs, i replied.

Ouch. Come over then, we'll think of a new prank together.

Alright. Meet you there.

···

"Got any ideas yet?" Chelsea asked,

"Nope. Im going out," i replied, fustrated.

"Yeah, me too. We always have new ideas for pranks,"

"Yeah..."

"Lets go for a walk, maybe we can get some inspiration," Chelsea said, clapping her hands,

"Alright, alright," i said, getting off her bean bag chair.

Outside, there were some guys playing soccer. Thats when inspiration hit me.

"Thats it!" i said out loud,

"Thats what? Got a new prank?" Chelsea said, eager to know,

I just nodded as we headed back to her house. The pranking will begin tomorrow.

···

*Beep beep beep, Beep beep beep*

Chelsea put off her alarm. We both woke up with a jolt, i had slept over while her parents were away so we could begin the prank before Jordan wakes up. It was 5:00 am, Jordan's soccer practice was at 6:30 am.

Slowly, me and Chelsea got our pink spraying cans and headed out. Jordan's house was two houses away from mine, and at the left at Chelsea's house.

We sneaked at their backyard, climbed over the fence and saw a blue colored soccerball inside a sleeping bag. We got out our spraying cans and sprayed it pink while we snickered, trying hard not to wake anyone up. When we had finished, we put the now bright pink soccerball in the bag and climbed over the fence. We ran back to Chelsea's and rolled around her room, laughing.

We couldnt wait to see Jordan's face shocked with his new and improved pink soccerball.

Chelsea and I had fallen asleep at her floor when an ear splitting scream woke us up. That was our cew, we ran downstairs and out her backyard. There, we saw a fustrated Jordan. His messy blonde hair and blue eyes petrified with shock.

We hid under a bush when Jordan's mom had come to look at the problem.

"We'll just have to get you a new one, then. But for now, this is what you'll be using for soccer practice," her mom said, still half asleep.

"But mom! You cant... I-" but his mom wasnt listening as she entered the house.

When her mom had left, we couldnt take it anymore, we got out of our hiding place and burst out laughing.

Jordan, who was still mourning for his soccerball, looked over at us and yelled,

"You better watch out, Samantha, im going to get you!"

I just gave him a look, i hate it when he called me that.

"You and your red headed friend," he said, pointing at Chelsea,

"Jordan! What are you still doing there!?" his mom yelled,

"Coming mom," Jordan said, petrified.

That made as laugh harder and harder. We were rolling on the floor, holding our tummies. We went back inside, still laughing.

It wasnt the first time i saw Jordan so shocked. My first time was when we were friends. Yes, me and Jordan were best friends, but that was before. We started hating each other when i accidentally left my lunchbox on the playground and as Jordan ran to get the ball, tripped, blaming me on not winning the game.

I hated him after that, and thats when i met Chelsea. We became best friends through the school year.

Ah... memories
