Ariel's POV

He swore that he was just moving something that was on my face (which was a lie). The night turned awkward between us after that and he took me home. He was still trying to get me to believe in world peace, something that I knew would never come to be. Ever.

"When was the last time you actually went to school?" Ryan asked once I got inside of my car. I was still pissed about Ryan driving me to school. He couldn't even keep my car clean at all. In the passenger seat, there were fast food bags, drink containers, and loose fries and pieces of salads everywhere.

"Do you mind cleaning up my car?" I snapped at him.

He gave me a loose smile when the passenger door swung open. "Uh...." Carson trailed off.

"Oh, hey bro, maybe you should sit in the back" Ryan said. He didn't even bother to pick up any of the wrappers.

"Good idea" Carson said and slammed the door shut and then opened the back door to my right. The cool air rushed in. Carson and I hadn't said much after Saturday.

"Oh. Hey Nonbeliever" he said with a smile.

I knew that I wasn't a believer but nonbeliever sounded really wrong to me for some reason. I rolled my eyes at him, "Hey yourself."

Today was going to be a very long day.

Ryan's POV

"You're going to leave again, won't you?" Dad said. He had his back towards me when he said. We both knew he was right.

I picked up my duffel bag and cleared my throat. "I'm not 'leaving him again'. I'm going out for a trip for a few weeks, and plus, I'll be back soon."

He didn't say anything back so I kept walking towards the door. My hands tightened around my bag. I wanted to be there for Carson now, after what happened to him, but I needed to get back my fiancee. The one that I was going to tell mom about. Too bad she broke up with me the day before I told her.

I opened the front door. And my dad's voice stopped me. "I hope that whatever you're about to do is worth leaving your little brother for."

"It is" I said in a tight voice. My voice didn't sound like mine, it sounded too tight and too weak.

"Leave Ariel's keys in the car. If you're leaving, you're not taking her car with you."

I slammed the front door shut and put the car keys under the driver's seat so that Carson will know where they were.

Carson's POV

"He left" mom said. Her voice got tight and tears filled her eyes. "He left again."

It didn't take long for Ryan to get bored of places. Not long at all.

Thanks for reading! I know its short but...nothing is coming to mind lol.
