Chapter 1
*Jacquelyn's POV*
I tried to run to my locker to switch my books, but the hallway was crowded, and I was going against the traffic. After finally making it to my locker, and successfully switching my heavy math textbook for a much lighter English novel, I shut the cold metallic locker door, only to see that I was face to face with Melody.
"Guess what I got us tickets for Friday night?!?!?!", she exclaimed.
"What," I said, hoping she would guess that she was making me late for English class.
"ONE DIRECTION!", Melody shouted.
"Shut up really? But it's nearly impossible to get 1D tickets! How?"
I was never really huge fan of 1D, but I do enjoy their music, and let's face it, they are five fine-looking-British-Irish specimen. Melody, however, is probably one of the biggest Directioners I know.
"My dad won 2 tickets through some raffle at his office. And guess what else came with the tickets?" Meldoy said, her face beaming with sheer and utter happiness.
"Free food," I guessed sarcastically.
"HAHANO. BACKSTAGE PASSES!"
"Are you serious? Wow, that's great! I'm so excited for Friday! Alright, see you later. I have to get to class."
"Ughh, bye," Melody said. A small smile grew from the corner of her mouth. "Can't wait for the concert, love!" she said in her best British accent.
Melody strutted down the crowded hallway, and I sped down the other way, hoping I'd be saved by the bell.

Friday Afternoon
I ran down the polished wooden stairs. I frantically searched the kitchen counter for my phone, which, not to my surprise, was in the pocket of my jeans. I stuffed my phone and my wallet into my tiny clutch purse. For the concert, I was dressed in a 1D T-Shirt loaned to me by Melody. It was bright pink with a picture of the boys on it. I also wore my favorite pair of skinny jeans. For the finishing touch, I grabbed my magenta pumps. Just as I finshed stuffing my feet into them, the doorbell rang. Not even waiting for me to answer, Melody runs in. She is wearing an outfit similar to mine.
"Alright, let's go! My dad is waiting for us in the car!", Melody said.
"Ok, I'm almost ready," I said. I quickly sprayed some perfume on my wrists. "Ready!"
"One Direction, HERE WE COME!!", Melody shouted.
We ran out of my house and into her dad's car. I hate to say it, but I was actually excited to be going to a One Direction concert.
