Chapter 5
*Jacquelyn's POV*
I just couldn't stop crying. At this point, I was probably just crying air because I've used all of my tears. After thinking about what I should do, I decided to call Melody and have her give me a ride home.
I tapped Melody's name and my phone rung for a while. Eventually, she picked up.
"Y'ello?"
"Hey Melody, it's me. Can you give me a ride home?" I said, trying to hold back any tears that I had left.
"Of course....wait, I thought you were spending the night at Harry's?" Melody questioned.
"I was, but then something happened..." My voiced started to trail off.
"Are you crying?" Melody asked.
"No, I'm fine," I said defensively.
"Alright," she said, "We'll pick you up in 10 minutes. Bye!"
"Ok...wait..WE?" I shouted into my phone, but Melody had already hung up.
