Alistar put his hand out and I took it. Outside was more beautiful then I had ever seen in the world. The sky was light blue with puffy white clouds forming in the sky. A sweet smell was surrounding me, Roses were all over the bushes that we were walking past. I looked to see what face amy was pulling but she wasn't there.
"wheres amy and malachie?" My voice trembled I was still afraid of alistar cause of the blood thing.
"Malachie thought that this would be better if he weren't here with amy"
"Why is that" I started to back away looking at the ground.
"Stop hayden" his arms grasped my shoulders"Why are you scared? you act fearless but I know that you fear me. Why is that hayden?"
I gave no reply
A cold hand cupped my chin and lifted me up to look in alistars deep ocean blue eyes.
"Why?" Tears welled up in my eyes My mind went back to what my "old master" did to my mom
He said that he would never hurt her that she was unlike anyother human that he had ever met. . But what did he do he hit her and whipped her and broke her into a million peices. This made me hate him, this made me want to kill him. I had no chance though he was a vampire, stronger than the humans.A tear fell from my eye and rolled down my cheek. I missed my mom and knew that she must be in hell takeing all the beatings. More tears followed the first and sobs starting comming out.
"Wow hey there hayden your not susposed to cry untill I tell you the news."
"Kay sorry I'll pull myself together" I wiped my tears and looked at him in the eyes
"Here goes nothing. Two million years ago my great grand father met a beautiful women. Her blood smelled and tasted like the best wine in the whole world. One day he ran into this women again and asked her to run away with him. She said yes and they ran away together. It was illegal to have any relations with a human at all but he didn't care her blood was just so sweet smelling that he had to be with her. Soon after they ran away they were caught. My grandfather made a deal with the vampire council. If they let him stay with arabell for one single night they could kill him the next day.
"They acsepted this offer and told him what room she was in. When he walked in the room he heard no heart beat or her faint breathing. He ran to her side and got a closer look. All over her body were cuts small and large. This made him hiss with anger, he ran throughout the house killing everone in his path. When he got to the council room there were lagrge wooden stakes pointed at him ready to kill. Did you know that before vampires die they get one wish?"
"One wish before you die, got it"
"Well he loved aranbell so much that he used his wish against the council. He cursed them and all the royal vampires. That the fith and the sixth child would meet someone that was absolutly mouth watering. But if we killed that person we would die along with them. I am the sixth child born and malachie is the fith born child." I felt light headed but nodded my head telling him to go on.
" Father made it a rule that we must marry and turn you by your seventeenth birthday. you see we only have so many years to find you and change you into one of us."
"I.....I.....I HAVE TO MARRY YOU!!! BY MY BIRTHDAY!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHH!!!"
"Shhhh I know that you don't trust me after the whole blood thing but that was a mistake. I will never hurt you. You have got to trust me on this one" his voice was pleading for me to understand.
"I will marry you on one condition" he raised his eye brows.
"Whats that?"
"You don't drink my blood till I become one of you" My voice was understanding
"Okay but what if you want me to?" the voice he used was teasing
"In your dreams"
"Every night suger every night"
Alistar had left me outside to explore the rose garden. I walked for about an hour then I wanted to go back into the house. I opend the door and peeked inside no one was there,good. I tiptoed up the stairs.
"Hello my new human sister!! whats up?"saph had popped out from the corner.
"Holy crap saph you scared the crap outta me!! and how did you know about that?"
"I can read your mind silly" her giggle was high pitched but really cute.
"I know I love it to. Wanna come ta my room familys gonna be here soon alistar wouldn't want ya to get hurt." She grabbed my wrist and pulled me along. We stopped in front of two large cherry wood doors . She opend them. The walls were a royal purple well,Everything was royal purple.
"As you can see I love royal purple. I picked out that dress and I am in love with it"
"Oh ya thanks." I think that I was blinded from the color purple. We talked about the wedding and got to know eachother.
"well family is out hunting I have to go to or I'm afraid you'll be lunch." Saph gave me a light hug before running out the door.
"UGH!" I had been wandering up and down the halls for and hour and still haven't found my room. I walked up a pair of small blood red stairs. 'help me please' I heard someone whisper.
"Hello is anyone there?"
"Hayden is that you?" a sweet and innocent voice called back
"Amy where are you!?"
"I'm in the small room to the left help me please" I ran to the small room to the left and slamed open the door.
