Robbie’s P.O.V

Well to say that my first day at school was interesting was a lie. It was nothing but mental. First was the mental people outside who seem dangerous but I’m still not one hundred percent about that, then it was the porcelain doll, then her insane boyfriend, then the principal’s office with a guy who I think confessed his love for porcelain doll but I’m still not sure if he was serious or not. Not say that I missed like two periods on the first day. Now here I stand with a trade of food, which looks disgusting by the way, looking for a place to sit. I swear this is the worst part of being the new kid, you never know where to sit and who to sit by. I tap my finger on the tray as I scan the room and then I spot her, she’s sitting at the other end of the cafeteria with the same people from outside. They sit closed together as if to not let an outsider come in. I barely notice that I’m walking that when suddenly a voice stops me.

“You’re not really planning on going to that table are you?”

I immediately feel embarrassed; this guy must know something about them.

"Can I sit here?" I asked as I was pulling the chair back.

"Might as well since you’re already sitting down, my name is Mike." he extended his hand

"Hey I’m Robbie" I extend my hand and shake his. I start to eat but soon my sight catches porcelain dolls face again and I just can’t help myself as I stare. She’s so beautiful, the way she smiles with Justine, the way she leans in with curiosity in her eyes. I notice that she was biting the inside of her checks.

"Stop looking, looks like you'll droll pretty soon." I looked over at Mike, he had a goofy grin on his face.

"I wasn't looking" I snapped embarrassed to be caught.

"Whatever, man."

“Don’t worry, Xhy is beautiful I give her that, but you really don’t want to get close to her”

“Why? What are they?”

I asked pointing to the whole table with my fork.

"You must be kidding, they are the Elands" I started at him with a blank expression.

"Elands?"

"It means misery in German."

I still wasn't catching up.

"Sooooooo?? What does that have to do with anything about them?"

"EVERYTHING! They are the Elands; they bring misery to everyone around them, make life a living hell if you ask me."

"All of them?”

“Every single one of them. Of course some more than others but still dangerous.”

"Come on you can’t be serious? What have they murder before?" his eyes told me all, they had.

"Look take Mike’s advice here. Stay away from her if you don't want to end up in your coffin. I have being barking at that tree for ages." he looked down and I saw his purple eye.

"Is that what happen to you?" I asked pointing to his face. He looked up to where the porcelain doll was sitting at, very intrigued by something going on at her table now. Mike smiled mischievously.

“No, this” he pointed at his eye “Was from her” Mike still held that smile as he stared on.

I fallowed his eyes to take at look at her, how was that possible? She looked so harmless!

"So what are they?  A gang?”

"Yea you can say that."

"But they don't get in fights with others right?”

"I wish."

"So there's more?"

"Yup" I wish he could give me more than one answer but Mike seem to be distracted staring at the Elands. They look like they were in some fun game.

"Where are the others?"

"In the same school"

"Hold up, hold up your saying that in this school there are two dangerous gangs?"

"Yea pretty much" Mike yawned as if it was such a natural thing to have two different gangs around.

"Do the teachers know? The principle? The parents?"

"You haven't notice how nervous the teachers are when the Elands are around?" now that I think about it I notice that they have and even right now there is no teachers around.

"Where is the other gang at?"

"They usually seat outside their called the Zarockz."

"How do you know who they are?""

"That's easy they wear a green bandanna." he paused for a second and continue "They’re the same as the Elands or maybe worst"

"But how can they be in the same school?"

"They usually ignore each other, they are not allowed to speak to one another if they break that they have to stick to the consequences a fight or whatever they will have, and they usually fight or get in each other’s faces after school, that's when the treaty is over."

"Has it ever got bad between them?"

"Yea one time they had a shooting, about two of them die."

"Wow what kind of school have I gotten myself into?"

"Trust me we all ask the same questions and..." Mike got distracted once again by porcelains table.

A girl with brown hair and brown eyes lifted her bloody finger and flipped the whole cafeteria off.

“Bloody hell”

Mike chuckled

“Still don’t believe me? Welcome to East High school”
