"So, Jade, what do you do?" The man asked as I sat beside him.

"I write screenplays, sing, and act," I told him and he began to nod, "I wrote the script for the television series 'Young and Wild'."

"Wow," he said to me with raised brows, "Impressive, Anthony's lucky."

"I know," I said and looked around, "Do you have coffee around here?" He pointed back and I stood up. He gave me a few directions and I managed to find the small kitchen area. I fixed a large cup of coffee, then returned to my chair near the man.

I noticed people beginning to set up a table in front of us. A group of people, including Anthony, returned from the back and approached the area, each taking a seat around the table.  Anthony was wearing a black leather jacket, a plain grey shirt, and a tight pair of black jeans. They started recording and the dark haired girl, dressed as a waitress, approached the table to collect kisses as payment.

I wasn't ecstatic about the fact that Anthony was the person giving the dark haired girl the 'tip' or that they had to shoot the scene over five times before they got it correct, "What do you think?" Sunny asked me as we watched them acting out many scenarios.

"Who wrote it?" I asked as Anthony kissed the dark haired girl again and she laughed, ruining the shot once again.

"Courtney," he pointed to the blonde girl who was wearing a wig, "She wrote it. We also do skits called every blank ever. It's different every time." He gave me some examples and I nodded.

I lightly sighed and sipped my coffee as numerous ideas came to mind. I listed a few of the ideas and he seemed to be interested in what I had to say, "You know, we may need another creative director  here at Smosh. Would you be interested?"

"I would," I said unenthusiastically and glanced at him for a moment as everyone continued to kiss in front of me, "I have plenty of ideas."

"Well, I'd be delighted to have you as part of the Smosh Squad," he told me with a smile and I nodded once.

Five o'clock came quickly and soon Anthony was approaching me wearing a mullet wig, "Do you like my new look?" he asked me with a big smile and I raised my eyebrows, "I'm going to go get changed, than we can go find something to do. Would you mind going back to that room and getting the food Courtney had brought me. I don't want to leave it in there over night."

I nodded and we separated.  I moved towards the room and noticed Sunny in the hallway near the door, "Jade, the rest of Smosh Squad is in here," He said with a smile and opened the door to the room I was directed towards, "Everyone," He called and all eyes rested on me, "This is Jade, the new addition to Smosh Squad."

The five of them awkwardly greeted me and introduced themselves as Sunny exited the room, "Hey, uh, Jade?" Noah said awkwardly and I looked at him, "Since you are one of us now, would you want to be on my show sometime? It's called 'Put it in my mouth'." Once he explained the show, I agreed, "We shoot on Tuesdays."

"Are you and Anthony dating?" the blonde haired boy asked me hesitantly and introduced himself as Shayne. I nodded and glanced over my shoulder to see Anthony's friend enter the room.

"What are you doing in here?" He asked roughly and let the door closed, "This room is for employees only."

"I am an employee," I slightly tilted my head to the side and smirked at him. I could feel the intensity in the air.

"No you aren't," He told me and I raised my eyebrows at him. The crowd of people were staring at us intently.

"Sunny hired me," I told him and he met my eyes for a quick moment.

"And I just fired you," the jaws of the crowd dropped and I raised my eyebrows.

"I'm sure Anthony will just love that," I told him with sarcasm and rested my hands on my hips.

"You won't fit in here," he told me harshly and avoided the multiple gasps from the crowd watching, "So, why don't you just leave?"

"Ian!" Olivia exclaimed quietly and Noah bounced to his feet, his eyes moving back and forth between us.

"Fine," I said to him and slightly raised my hands in defeat, "But you should know that my bite is worse than my bark and you disliking me only makes me want Anthony more." I turned around and exited the room, letting the door shut loudly behind me.

"Are you alright, Jade?" Sunny asked as I passed him in the hall.

"I got fired," I told him simply and his eyebrows popped up.

I passed Anthony on the way to the exit doors and he grabbed my hand, "Jade, what's wrong?"

"Ask your friend," I said to him roughly and pulled away from him. I moved quickly through the parking lot and, after jogging behind me for a few minutes, Anthony turned around to run back into the building.
