The Island

Raven's POV (didn't expect that, did you?)

I flew on away from Garroth. Everyone was silent. Wyverns normally don't have friends, but Garroth was still someone I had a close connection with.
"Where are we going?" Elena asked, sniffing.
"Somewhere far away from danger," I say, looking down.
I plan to take them to an island in the Gal'ruk region. The enemy won't find them there.
I here a sniff from my back.
"Elena, I'm so sorry that something like this would happen on your birthday..." Laurance says.
Emma and Elena were silent. I think that Elena has her face in her knees and Emma was laying down with her arms around my neck, she probably cried herself to sleep, sleeping. She is too young to lose her only family so fast. The girls were silent.

Laurance's POV

I sit there looking at Elena. She is gorgeous. I hug her.
"I'm sure he is fine..." I whisper.
"No, no one is going to be fine. Laurance, we are losing our family, Vylad is dead and I bet Garroth is too by now!" she cried.
I hug her tighter. I had no idea Vylad died.
"You still have me, Emma, and Raven and I will protect you guys with my life," I say.
She looks at me her eyes full of tears.
"Laurance..." she says, hugging me tight.
"It's ok, go to sleep. I bet you're tired..." I whisper, as she cries on my shoulder.

~Le time skip~

We have been flying for a while, and most the time, we were over the ocean. I wish I could talk to Raven like Elena can. I want to know where he is taking us.
Raven made a noise and Elena lifted her head from my shoulder.
"What did he say?" I ask.
"We are here," she said, still sort of laying on me.
She woke up Emma. Emma sat up. I look down and see a huge island under us.
"Where are we Raven?" Elena asks.
Raven made another noise.
"He said we are in the Gal'ruk region," she said. We landed.

Elena's POV

"I will be leaving now. Call me if you need me," Raven said as we got off.
"Bye Raven!" I say as he flys away.
We walk in the woods.
"How far are we from home?" Emma says, her tail and ears down.
"Pretty far," Laurance says.
I freeze as I hear a sound. I grab my sword.
"Imps and...a werewolf, GET THEM!" an angry voice ordered and not long after, we were surrounded.
