I lost my night job because I wasn't being too focused on work and I caused some felon to break into the car dealer and stole ten grand form the safe. To top it all off Janeiro's mother is in town how lovely. It's not that I don't like her mother it's just that her mother is very talkative and her attitude pissed everyone off.
I watched how Janeiro ran back and fourth trying to make the house fit her mothers standards. Xavier was on the ground crawling around having a time of his life, while his parent's were having a stress a fit.
" babe take a break you're gonna strain yourself "
" no, you know my mother, she'll want to stay longer and control my life " she sighed.
She went right back to moving the couches. I got up and gently grabbed her waist and pulled her to me. " take a break, I don't want you to hurt yourself "
She wiggled out of my embrace and went straight back to working. I groaned in annoyance and watched her move and hide things. She eventually gave up and plopped down on the couch beside me. " my mother will be the death of me " she whispered while taking Xavier into her arms.
Her mother came twenty five minutes later. She had that mean mug on her face that she always had whenever she sees me. Her straight hair stopped at her shoulders and her perfectly manicured hands on her hips.
" Duke " she scoffed
" Mrs. Windle " I smiled
She came in and gave herself a tour of the house that she has been to millions of times. Janeiro and Xavier weren't in the room at the time and when they do, she'll begin to nagg.
" Duke, X wants some fatherly loove " she said cooing.
Her mother's eyes widened and her mouth fell. Here we go again..
" you have a child? " she asked very surprised
" yes mother, his name is Xavier "
She tried handing him to her but she flinched and took a step back. " don't you dare bring that thing around me " she shouted.
" thing ? THING !? " I yelled getting angry. " are you referring to me and your daughter's child to a thing ? "
" calm down duke "
This woman has came into my house, disrespected me and her own daughter and my child.

" will you excuse me for a while " I grabbed my car keys and left the house. I need to get calmed, I don't want to hurt anyone.
