I had everything packed and ready. I strapped Xavier in his car seat easily because he was asleep. I took a thirty minute drive back to the house. I want inside with Xavier first so that I could take them in later. She was sitting on the couch with white shorts, white tank top, red and black plaid shirt with white and black adidad superstars.

" Xavier, mommy's sorry for not paying you any attention " she cooed taking him from me. " Hi duke "

I smiled at her and took a seat on the couch that's when I realized there were bags at the front door.

" umm, what's going on Janeiro ? " I asked with my eyebrow arched

" We need to tal- " I cut her off before she gets to finish

" Well obviously we need to talk ! Are you leaving me Janeiro? " I shot up from the couch.

" We just need a break from each other besides I need some time with my son "

" Janeiro we just had some time apart and for all I know you didnt want your damn son because of your mother's actions "

She got in my face and raised her hand to slap me but I grabbed her wrists. " Dont you dare hit me cause you know I'll hit you back "

She took her hands from mine and began to scream.

" Goddamnit Duke, I don't fucking love you anymore, you don't make me happy and I want some one who does "

" W-what ? You don't love me, after all I've done for you, I made you live in my house without paying bills. You don't even have a job where are you gonna find money to even survive ? " I asked trying to fight the tears from coming.

" I'm gonna move in with my brother he's on his way to come and get me " she said placing Xavier in another car seat that she had.

" What about X, you don't want him to grow up without a father do you ? "

" don't worry I'll find someone to take care of both of us. "

Tell me she's kidding right now

" you're not gonna let no other man put his hand on my child ! I helped to create him and you wanna take him away from me ?..... what's gotten into you " I held her waist and pulled her to me

She moved out of my grip and went to the door because a car horn was heard from outside.

" Janeiro please don't do this to me "

" Duke it's best for me because I don't feel for you the way you feel for me "

Her brother came through the door and have me a death glare and took the bags and headed out.

" If you leave don't ask me for any fucking support because you're not getting shit from me. I did not work my ass off doing two jobs to make sure that you and my son was ok and you repay me how ? "

" I'm sorry " she said taking Xavier and leaving.

I could hear my heart break and feel the tears flow down my face.

I lost her

She's gone

I ran out the door and to the car.

" Janiero don't leave I'm begging you, what am I gonna do with myself "

" Get the fuck off of my car and go fuck yourself " her brother yelled at me speeding off.

What did I do ?

I rubbed my hand over my face and pulled at my hair.

She doesn't love me

After all I did for her, I loved her with all my heart and she left taking it with her.

A/N: I feel good about this chapter, I think it's the best part of the book yet. I'm gonna make this into a short story. I have one more chapter before I end it.
