(This chapter is just kinda short and fun, not really anything all that serious. It took me an unreasonable amount of time to write like 750 words, but I'm still happy with it. It will be continued, by the way, because there's a lot more to this vacation, but I felt like I came to an okay stopping point, and I really wanted to release a chapter, so, yeah. It also kind of made me sad, because I'm writing about a beautiful Hawaii vacation from my tiny cramped house in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of a bunch of really shitty weather. Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and thanks in advance for reading. :))

"Somebody just got laid," Daniel laughed from behind the camera, filming the excited (and still slightly medicated) Joey getting a lei put around his neck.
Daniel, Hope and Joey had just gotten off of their flight to Hawaii. It was raining, and the harsh wind was hardly the tropical breeze they'd been expecting, but there was no way they were letting that dampen their spirits. Once they'd all gotten their lei, they were off, getting their luggage and then heading off to the hotel. Joey spotted a rainbow once they were on the road, insisting that it was following their car.
Once they got to their hotel, they were bombarded with people, giving them a bunch of different things. There were beads for them to wear with their lei, cool towels, some fruits for them to taste. All of that, combined with the absolutely gorgeous view from the hotel check-in area was enough to bring a smile to Joey's face before the actual vacation even started. He recorded some little videos here and there, in the airport, and the car to get to the hotel, and getting some beautiful shots of the view from the lobby of the hotel.
They took their luggage up to their rooms, getting a little bit settled before Joey forced Daniel off of the comfortable bed and out into the hallway so they could do a MTV Cribs-esque room tour. Joey took Daniel from room to room, exaggeratedly showing off their room, which was actually really impressive, in Joey's opinion. He'd never stayed in a hotel like this one before.
Joey showed off one of the bathrooms, which he referred to as their guest bathroom, as if maybe someone might visit them during their two-day stay in the hotel, and need to use their guest bathroom. He then took Daniel to the kitchen, focusing mostly on the blender, and the fridge that had nothing in it. Joey walked into the living room, jumping on the sofa just a little bit, and then went to visit Hope in her room. He showed off Hope's bathroom, and allowed Daniel to admire himself in the mirror, (honestly, Joey was admiring Daniel in the mirror, too) before walking to he and Daniel's shared bedroom. Joey showed off his butt, which Daniel had claimed as his, before plopping onto the most comfortable bed in the world. He showed the bathroom, which was literally the same exact thing as Hope's, giving Daniel a little bit more mirror-time before heading to their balcony. The storm outside was really going strong by that point, but they'd made plans to go out and explore Hawaii later, maybe take some pictures, and they were going to go through with it, damn it.
They ended up waiting a little while, just relaxing in their hotel room, before they went outside. Hope wanted to take some pictures of the incredible Hawaii sunset. The wind had calmed down to a warm breeze, and Joey could feel it on his face as they walked toward the ocean. They took a lot of pictures, only stopping when it got too dark, and they were all a little hungry, and decided to head to dinner.

The next morning, Hope woke Joey up at 7 AM, which was a completely unreasonable time to be awake in Joey's opinion. His mood shifted a bit, however, when he saw yet another rainbow outside. He thanked Hope for letting him see it, and thanked Hawaii for welcoming his little gay self to it's beautiful islands with such a gorgeous part of nature.
Once Daniel came back from his morning jog, which was also completely unreasonable to Joey, who thought that doing anything at 6 in the morning was not in the question, let alone running, they all headed down to get some breakfast. Joey had his morning green juice, which was a necessity no matter where he was, before he had his pancakes, which definitely should have been renamed heaven on a plate. The weather was still sort of horrible, but they still enjoyed themselves, eating, and chatting, and playing with Daniel's baby pineapple.
After breakfast, the weather still hadn't cleared up, so they decided to just hang out for awhile as they waited for it to clear up. Joey headed back to the hotel's balcony, which was possibly his favorite part of the hotel, and lounged in one of the comfortable chairs there, listening to some Harry Potter as the rain provided a slightly comforting rhythm in the background.
