(This is kind of a shorter chapter [I think?? It's like 800 words and most of them are around 1200. I'm calling this one short.] Sorry about that. My power was out for like four hours today and it was hell, so I didn't get to writing until a lot later than I wanted to. I hope you enjoy this anyway. Also, thank you for 2k reads, that's like, a lot, omg. Have a good day. :))
Being with Daniel in England was like a dream. He couldn't stop thinking about how crazy it was.
Just walking through London. With my boyfriend.
He never would've thought that would be something he could actually think.
They walked around with Rebecca right behind them, trying to take in everything they were seeing, trying to make sure it lasted.
Joey felt his hand brush Daniel's a few times, but they didn't completely make it to the hand holding part. He wasn't sure which of them was holding back, or maybe it was a little bit of both of them, but there was an unspoken rule that they couldn't hold hands in certain situations, and this seemed to be one of them.
Oh well, Joey thought. He could confidently hold Daniel's hand someday. He was sure of it.

"Look, you guys, it's the Eiffel Tower!" Joey laughed, pointing at Big Ben.
"No, that's the White House," Daniel chimed in, grinning over at Joey, who was recording everything they saw.
After a few moments, Joey turned off the camera and just stood next to Daniel and watched.
"It's pretty, isn't it?" Daniel asked, quietly, before quickly adding. "But, you know, not as pretty as me."
Joey laughed a little bit, once again, putting his arm around Daniel.
"You're right. It's nowhere near as pretty as you."

There were highs and lows to their trip.
After Joey had gotten over his initial sickness at the beginning, things looked like they would be fine from there on.
That might've been a bit inaccurate.
Joey just completely didn't film anything for the entire second day in London. He was so damn tired, his sleep schedule was as messed up as it'd ever been in Joey's life, and he was just sort of miserable.
He was even at a meetup and he couldn't bring himself to record any of it when he knew he wasn't being genuine with his happiness.
When he and Daniel got back to their hotel room, he pretty much collapsed on the bed instantly.
Daniel looked at him pitifully for a few moments, before hastily climbing into bed next to him.
Joey turned to face him after awhile, opening his eyes halfway.
"Hello," he muttered.
"Hello, my kind sir. How are you doing on this fine day?" Daniel replied in the worst British accent Joey had ever heard. It was so stupid, but it made him smile a little.
"You're a loser," Joey replied, quietly, closing his eyes and curling up into a ball as he spoke.
"I know, and that's why you fell in love with me, remember?" Daniel nudged Joey a bit.
"Yeah, yeah, I remember," Joey groaned, moving to lie on his stomach instead.
"What's the matter, Joey?" Daniel whispered, trying to be serious now, because this was a serious moment.
"I'm just really exhausted, and I don't feel good, and my head hurts a lot," Joey replied, also whispering. He looked over at Daniel, opening his eyes.
"Is there any way I can help you?" Daniel inquired, moving closer to Joey.
"You can hug me," Joey smiled again.
"I'm always up for that," Daniel agreed, wrapping his arms around Joey and pulling him close.
"You're the best," Joey sighed happily, once again closing his eyes and leaning into Daniel's warm embrace.

Train rides with Daniel were one of Joey's favorite things about being in England. Sure, the screaming girls and book signings and pictures were definitely amazing, and Joey knew he was so lucky to have all of it.
But really, watching Netflix on a train in your pajamas with a cute boy is definitely the way to go.
They argued about which character on Orange is the New Black was the best, they looked at all of the scenery going by, and when Daniel fell asleep, Joey liked to see how many things he could stack on his face. It was quite amusing.

Joey's mind for most of the trip was simply:
Book signing, meetup, photos, screaming fans, book signing, meetup, photos, screaming fans, Nandos, sleep.
And the cycle went on and on and on for the entire tour.
Joey's jet lag wasn't as horrible after that late-night cuddle session with Daniel, but that didn't mean book signings didn't take a lot of energy.
So, the end of the tour was both a happy and sad time.
Daniel and Joey got back to their hotel for the last time, most of their things packed and ready to go. Daniel took a seat on the bed.
"That was some tour, huh?" Daniel asked. "You ready to go back home and relax?"
"Actually," Joey murmured, sitting down next to Daniel on the bed. "I think we should make another quick stop.
"Really?" Daniel asked, raising an eyebrow at Joey. "Where?"
"Paris."
