(It's been literally over a month since I've updated this story which is crazy because it definitely doesn't seem like it's been that long. I was anticipating this summer to be as slow and relaxing as all the other summers of my life, but for some reason, I've been insanely busy?? Is this what being an adult is like? I don't know, I'll stop talking now. I hope you enjoy this, and hopefully I'll be able to find more time to write in the near future! xx)

Around the time Joey, Daniel, and Hope were supposed to be checking out of their resort, the weather decided to change suddenly and make the view from the lobby look just like the pictures of the ultimate Hawaiian vacation they'd seen on the internet. Of course.

The three of them followed a man from the hotel outside to a jeep, which they were going to drive to their next resort. They were given souvenir hats, yet another gift from the staff of their resort, and then they were off, waving their goodbyes to the kind man and the gorgeous exterior of the resort.

Daniel drove to their new resort, the ride only taking a few minutes. The new resort was literally right next to the previous one. They arrived, and Daniel parked the jeep, all three of them getting out and going through the same process they went through on their first day at the last resort. They admired the gorgeous view together for a few moments, snapping a few pictures because why not? Hawaii was clearly never going to get old. Then, they headed for the lobby, checking in, getting some new lei from the hotel staff to replace their old, half-dead ones that they'd been trying to keep fresh in the refrigerator. After that, they all headed up to check out their rooms for the first time.

The rooms were slightly smaller in this resort, but nobody really minded, because they were still gorgeous, and the rooms in the last hotel were kind of massive. The view from their window this time was a golf course, which was kind of horrifying. Joey's mind immediately thought up awful scenarios of golf balls flying into their room and hitting someone in the face. Oh well. It was still pretty. Joey filmed a little bit of the suite this time around, opting to not give an extended tour of the entire thing this time. Luckily, the sun was shining, with no sign of rain at all, which meant that they'd probably be able to get some exploring done on the first day this time instead of being holed up in their room, trapped by a storm.

Before they went to do any Hawaii-ish things, Joey decided he needed to do something about his ratchet nails, and Daniel and Hope decided they were up for a trip to the nail salon as well. They tried to book an appointment at the salon on the resort, but it was completely booked, and the only appointment they could get was a few days after they got home from Hawaii. So, resort nail salon was out. They decided to drive a little bit to get to a place called David's Happy Nail. The view from the parking lot was absolutely fantastic, which kind of blew Joey's mind. The view from anywhere in Hawaii seemed to be the most gorgeous thing in the world.

Joey came out of the salon with beautiful blue nails, and Daniel got gray ones, along with a pedicure that smudged almost immediately. Joey briefly met up with one of his Hawaiian fans, Mahi, and her little brother, taking some photos in a Starbucks drive-thru, which was a surprisingly nice place to get pictures taken. After that, they got some drinks and headed for the beach. There were crazy waves and so much wind that Joey wasn't sure if his camera was even picking up what he was saying, but Hope took some pictures of Daniel anyway, which still turned out fantastic, because Daniel could probably look stunning under any circumstances.

They stayed at the beach for quite awhile, putting their feet into the cool water a few times, taking a million pictures, and just enjoying themselves. This was exactly what they were picturing when they thought of their Hawaiian vacation, it just took a few days of rain for it to happen. They had their most delicious meal yet that night for dinner, and on the walk back to their hotel, they found a hammock. Daniel and Joey took the opportunity to lie there together, just looking up at the stars. The breeze rocked the hammock gently, as Joey rested his head on Daniel's chest.

"I think this has been my favorite day so far," Joey murmured, glancing up at Daniel for a  moment.

"Me too," Daniel agreed, nodding ever-so-slightly.

They stayed there for a little while longer, talking, and looking at the sky, and kissing every now and again. They finally decided they should probably get back to their room before they fell asleep in the hammock, which honestly didn't sound too bad. They made their way back, changing into comfortable clothes and lying in bed together, watching Drag Race until they drifted off.

The next day, they all woke up early and headed off to do some exploring. They stopped at a place that sold smoothies and juice and stuff, getting themselves some drinks and deciding to walk down a path that lead through a bit of rainforest to a waterfall. Joey drank his smoothie, and Daniel drank his coconut water, which Hope and Joey both thought was disgusting, while Hope made herself a flower crown. They looked out at the river rapids which looked very dangerous. And then Joey decided he wanted to climb on a tree branch right above them.

He carefully inched his way out along the branch and sat down, his feet dangling above the water. It was mildly terrifying, but Hope got some really great pictures. On the way back, he dropped his sunglasses into the water. The next few moments were spent mourning the loss of his dearly beloved favorite glasses before they moved on.

"The sacrifices I have made for beautiful pictures," Joey sighed, overdramatically as they walked along.

The three of them got into the scary river for awhile, Joey having to stop Daniel from getting into the waterfall, fearing that Daniel would trip and fall and get hurt or something. He was definitely not going to let that happen, ever. They went back to the resort, going to the spa for the rest of the day. Joey felt better than ever after it was over, which meant that it was another successful day in Hawaii.
