The first bell rung and kids of all ages started running into the school.

"Kiki, remember what I told you to do?" Kirstin's mom bent down and whispered in her ear.

"Yes mommy. I go inside and look for a big yellow star. Right?" Kirstin asked curious yet shyly.

"That's correct honey! Just remember your teacher's name is Mrs.Kelly", Kirstin wrapped her arms around her mommy, "You'll have so much fun baby."

"I love you so much mommy."

"I love you with all my heart Kiki." Kirstin's mother gave her a quick kiss on her cheek before she let go and skipped into the building.

"Hmm, where's the star mommy told me to find?" Kirstin asked herself. She observed the place. To a small child, it was quite big. There was a big tree in the middle surrounded by benches kids were sitting on. The roof was a glass sphere with rockets and all sort of stuff hanging on.

"Whoa..." Kirstin murmured to herself. She was amazed. Then she found a big star. "That's what mommy was talking about!"

She skipped her way to the star, trying to avoid the bigger kids around her. Once she gotten close enough, she saw a group of kids that looked her age. Then a teacher came up to her.

"Hello there! Are you here for kindergarten?" Kirstin assumed she was a teacher.

"Y-ya..." She tensed up and suddenly felt scared. The teacher could tell and gave her a big smile.

"Don't be scared! My name is Mrs.Kelly. What's your name?" Mrs.Kelly asked.

"My name is Kirstin Maldonuts. Wait! No no. Kirstin Maldonado." Kirstin giggled at her own joke. Mrs.Kelly then checked off her name from the clipboard and chuckled.

"You're quite funny Kirstin. Here, I'll take you to your classmates for this year."

Kirstin grabbed her hand as they walked to the line.

"Stay in this line while I get the rest of our class!" Mrs. Kelly told Kirstin with a smile.

"Okay Mrs.Kelly!" She waved.

Once again she observed her area. She was in a middle hallway that had three classrooms. Past the three classrooms on the left she read sixth grade which lead to another hallway, and second grade on the right side of her.

"I can't wait to grow up in this place..." She told herself.
