~"As she neared the tunnel she could see a faint blue glowing light, like the one they saw earlier. Kirsten took another step and with this one she screamed."~

"Kirsten are you okay?" Bellamy hollered down while Kourtney looked worriedly at him.

"Um-" She stepped back and she heard a crunching noise and she screamed again.

"Kirsten?! What's wrong?" Bellamy yelled down.

Kirsten was too stunned to respond, as she ran towards the ladder crunching noises being made with every step she took. When she hit the ladder, she jumped up and began to climb as quickly as she could.

"She's not responding." Bellamy said as he paced nervously. "Do you think something's happened to her?"

"I don't know Bell" Kourtney responded worriedly

Suddenly there was an gasping noise and Bellamy's head shot up.

"Oh my God! Kirsten!" Kourtney yelled as she began to run over to her. Bellamy quickly passed her up and reached Kirsten first. Her torso was laying on the ground while her legs still dangled inside of a hole. Her body was scraped and bloody and her arm was turning a purplish color. Bellamy scooped her up in his arms and she started to cry.

"Bellamy take her back to where the backpacks are I have a first-aid kit so we can hold her over until the Griffin comes back."

Bellamy quickly agreed and took her back towards the backpacks. Griffin went to find a park ranger to see if they could help Kirsten.

"Set her down here." Kourtney gestured towards the blanket that she had laid out and Bellamy set her down. Kourtney turned away from them and started digging through the first aid kit. She pulled out some bandages, antiseptic, rubber gloves and a splint which she planned to use for Kirsten's arm which was probably broken. She pulled on the latex gloves and turned back around.

"Alright, Kirsten, let me see your arm." Kourtney picked up Kirsten's purplish arm and began to clean the scratches with antiseptic.

"How did you break it?" Bellamy said as he sat down next to her.

Kirsten took a deep breath. "I don't even remember hurting it and I can't feel anything now."

"Kirsten I'm going to put some pressure on your arm, you tell me if it hurts." Kourtney said then pushed on her arm.

"I don't feel anything, is that bad?" Kirsten said

"That's definitely not good we need to get you to the hospital as soon as we can. The break is doing damage to the nerves which isn't good."

All of the sudden there was a rumbling noise coming from the trail, and then there was a Armadillo that all of the rangers drive around with griffin in the back. The vehicle pulled up right beside them and the ranger jumped out.

"Hi I'm ranger Jones. What's the problem?" The ranger sat down next to Kourtney.

"She fell through a sinkhole into a cave and broke her arm and by the looks of it she's having severe nerve damage. We need to get her to a hospital right away." Kourtney told Ranger Jones.

"Alright doctor let's go." He stood up, then helped Kirsten to her feet with her good arm.

"Med student but we need to get there as fast as we can." Kourtney agreed as they piled into the Armadillo. Ranger Jones puts his key in and gunned the engine.

"Are you alright?" Griffin asked Kirsten as they began to leave the cleaning.

"I'm not sure." She replied as honestly as she could.

Once they made it back to the main parking lot there was an ambulance waiting to take Kirsten to the hospital. The EMT's helped her out of the Armadillo and onto a stretcher, (Which made Kirsten slightly confused, she could walk fine, or at least she thought.) then rolled her over into the ambulance.

"Kirsten we're going to follow you to the hospital." Kourtney called from over where they were piling into Bellamy's Black Silverado. The EMT's shut the back doors of the ambulance before she had a chance to respond.

So its a short chapter this week, I didn't really have a lot of time to get it together but I still wanted to get it out to you guys! I promise next weeks chapter will be a lot longer because I have a lot to explain.

So what was Kirsten screaming about? You'll find that out next week!

Please comment your stories! You are wonderful enough to read my story and I don't want this to be a one way street. I have like zero time in my day but I will make time. Maybe if I can get enough people to comment stories I could do shout outs for them?

Incase you were wondering I have fallen in love with Spotify's Hot Country playlist. Normally I don't listen to country music but I have been listing to it a lot lately while I'm working in the studio or writing. So I recommend you go check it out.

Thanks for reading!
