My heart shot up to the roof, then sank to the floor and the process continued over and over again.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me.
You will be my queen, correct?"
I didn't reply, I simply stared at him.
If this was some sort of tale of love, I would've said yes in a heartbeat.
But it's not.
Where did these feelings of love come from...?
He may have had a childhood crush on me, but it's been ages!
He has to be-
Wait.
Theres a humming noise.
It's one that no living being could create.
Then it hit me.
This whole time, I've been with an illusion.
Even when he appeared by my window.
"You haven't changed." I hissed before launching my fist at the illusions face.
My hand went right through.
"Oh, I can't have any fun with you?"
The illusion dramatically sighed.
"Why do you want me here? Am I some kind of playing piece in your game?" I snapped, crossing my arms over my chest.
"You were a playing piece, but then I realized you wouldn't cooperate, so I left you out of it. For now, you're just company." He replied.
"You're free to roam about the place, but you shall not go outside or activate any objects. Understand?"
"I do."
Why I said "I do" instead of 'I understand' I do not know.
But it got a reaction out of the illusion.
"Oh I can't wait to hear you say that at the altar, darling." He growled, moving closer.
"Shush!" I shouted with a smirk on my face. "I didn't agree to be your queen!"
"But you will soon."
The illusion replied before snapping, and he vanished into thin air.
I rolled my eyes and fell back into my bed.
I know he's messing with my mind, but I can't help but smile at his foolish act.
But I shouldn't focus on any part of our relationship.
After all it was just a childhood crush-
Stop.
Stop thinking about him.
Just be glad no one will find you here.
And you can live a different life.
With Loki.
Shut it, Heart.
You don't belong in my brain.

For some reason, in this story the illusions can become solid whenever it feels. However, if you try to inflict damage upon the illusion, your hand will go right through.
