The next morning when I woke up, I was still on the couch, wrapped in my blanket. I sat up and looked around. Marcy had neatly folded her blanket and sat it on the arm of a chair. I got up and walked to the window, dragging my blanket along with me. Her car was still parked in the driveway. I looked around slightly confused.
"Marcy, are you in here?" I called out as I walked to the kitchen. I nearly shrieked when I almost ran into her.
"Jeezus crust woman! You almost gave me a heart attack! Wait, have you been here all night?" I tilted my head noticing she was wearing my pajama pants.
She simply smiled as she fixed me a cup of coffee, "Yea, I didnt want you to be here alone after what happened last night."

I sighed as I fixed myself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table to eat it. I took my spoon and smushed all the fruit loops down into the milk beforeq eating them. I glanced at the time on the microwave, 9:30AM.

As I finished my cereal and put the bowl in the sink, I walked back into the living room. Marcy was watching Mythbusters, one of her favorite shows.
"Im gonna go get a shower. I see youve already found the clothes you left here last time."
"Ok, Im not going anywhere" she said without looking away from the TV.

I stepped into the shower and sighed as the hot water ran down my spine. As good as it felt, I hurried to get out. I wrapped a warm towel around my body and stepped in front of the mirror. I analyzed every inch of myself. My skin looked so pale against the dark towel. My crystal blue eyes were puffy and red from crying. My black, pixie cut hair was slicked down with water. I grabbed another towel off the shelf and ruffled my hair with it, getting out the most of the water. Then I began my usual ritual of brushing my teeth while looking for clothes to put on.

Once I had found a decent outfit, consisting of black skinny jeans and a Metallica tank top, I made my way back to the living room. Marcy was still curled up in a ball watching mythbusters.
"Hey Marcy, can I talk to you for a minute"
She jumped at the sound of my voice but replied with a causal, "yeah"
"Ok, well, I dont know what to do about Tyler. I dont even know if he cheated, that voice could have been anybody..."
"Alexa, he lied to you about where he was, and hung up on you as soon as you asked. Maybe.... you should break up with him."
I stared down at the floor, "yea, I guess your right..." Tears yet again filled my eyes when I realized that yet another relationship was ruined by a fucking cheater.
