My clock flashed 8:30AM. I sat in bed replaying my dream in my head. Marcy hadnt gone home until nearly 2:ooAM so she wouldnt wake up for a few more hours. I fumbled around for my phone, only to spot it face down on the floor. Carefully, I picked it up and sighed in relief when I saw that the screen wasnt cracked.
At around 10:30, I decided to text Marcy and ask her to come over yet again. Minutes later she walked through the door, still in her pajamas.
"Hey Alexa, whats up?"
"Not much, I need to ask you something"
"What kind of something?" She raised her eyebrow and stared at me.I sat silently for what felt like hours, but was only seconds.
"Do you...uh...like me?"
She sat silently, rubbing her thumbs together. When she didnt say anything for awhile I put my hand on her shoulder, "Marcy, its ok if you dont."
"Its not that I dont," She paused and looked up so that her eyes met mine, "Its that Im scared to say that I do."
"Marcy?"
"What?
"I...I think I like you."
Her cheeks blushed red and she smiled.
"Alexa, Ive always had feelind for you. I was always jelous of the guys who were lucky enough to date you"
I was too shocked to even speak. We both sat silently, not knowing what to say or do. Finally, Marcy spoke up, "Why dont we give this a try? You and me."
I smiled and nodded my head, "yes, Id like that."
So sorry these last 3 Chapters have been short. I will make the next few longer and with a little less dialogue to hopefully make up for that. Also, I usually write these at around 1AM, so please comment if you notice any major spelling mistakes.
