When you work long, when you try hard,
And fail and lose all faith and heart.
when you rise in hate, ablaze with anger,
A lust for joy and insatiable hunger.
When the world hates you and you loathe you
And you think the weight of the world is on you.
Stop, slow down and think again.
There is something below holding up millions like you
And it has nothing to gain.
