I was loved a million times before love finally won me over.
I was hated a million times yet hate never won me.
I was taught a million times before teaching became a part of me.
I was hurt a million times but I never learnt to hurt.
I fought a million times before the only fight that mattered.
I thought a million times to answer the only question that mattered.
I lived a million lives before mine finally ended.
And education killed all of that which no monster of my childhood ever could.
I was killed a million times before death finally took me over.
