Once upon a time, a girl named Alice fell through a rabbit hole and ended up in a strange world. Wonderland.

There in wonderland, she grew small, met a rabbit, a cat, and a mad hatter.

She also defeated The queen of hearts. And brought down the house of cards. She restored peace in wonderland. And was finally able to go home.

But what would happen if, another girl called Alice, went back to Wonderland? Would wonderland be the same?

This is Alice. . . 21st century

Not for the first time, an argument had broken out during breakfast at Alice Parker's large penthouse home in New York. Father had taken one look at me this morning. His face had turned red, and the yelling started. The black skinny jeans, red flats and yellow cami were not proper "attire" a lady of my status should be wearing. Neither were the white and read beads on my arms and neck.

I changed for the sake of my ears (and the neighbours). I didn't like the blue dress I put on instead though. The soft material ended just above my knee's and the straps were thick. I tucked them inside my dress and wore it strapless. I stripped the beads off my arms and neck and left them bare. I slipped on a pair of white flats and bolted out the door. My curly blonde hair flying out behind me.

I didn't bother to go to the dining room. Nothing would be good enough for my Father. Mother really didn't care. She never did. When I was young, a nanny took care of me. Great mother huh? I was used to it though.

I didn't have any brothers or sisters. Just maids and nannies. They were my family.

By the time I got to the bottom floor, it was already to late to catch a cab. They would be filled with adults going to work.

I set up down the sunny sidewalk. People pushed past me and I pushed past them.

New York was filled with alleyways. Not safe of course, but I was never one for common sense or safety. If I got there faster, I was happy.

The ally was damp, dark, smelly. Just like every ally. My footsteps echoed in the empty space.

Several minutes later, I noted that I wasn't really getting anywhere. This ally probably went in a different direction to where I was going. So I turned back.

There was no back. I was in a maze.

I sighed.

Out of the corner of my right eye, I saw something flash by. I turned swiftly. And screamed.

And laughed. A large mirror leaned against the alley wall.

I walked towards it. Checked my hair. Makeup. My blue eyes shone today. I smiled and the mirror lit up.

I heard something behind me. And befor I could turn to look, I was pushed. I waited for my face to hit the mirror. But I never connected.

Wind blew my hair behind me. I was falling. I would have screamed if I could get any air in my lungs. I couldn't think.

Next thing I know, I am on the ground.

Dazed, I sit up.

I was 99.9 percent sure I was dreaming.

I stood up and looked around the room.

It was a dark room. The walls were red and black. There was no furniture. Just a small table in the middle of the room.

Since I apparently wasn't hurt. I walked over.

A glass bottle sat on the table. Ruby liquid shone in the vial.

My hand shook as I reached for the glass.

Attatched was a note. I flipped it and read the words,

"DRINK ME."

I stared at the note and laughed. What the hell? I wasn't stupid. It was probably poison.

Then I thought, what the hell. It's a dream.

I put the glass to my lips and downed the liquid.

It was cold and it made me shiver.

Then something happened. I started to shrink.

What a fucked up dream.

When I stopped growing, I was the size of a mouse.

Wow, I thought to myself.

My brain is fucked. I really shoudn't watch so many disney movies.
