An hour later, we got to Venice Beach. I was just glad that we eventually found our way out of traffic.
We got out of the car and started unloading everything for just the three of us. We had stopped at a CVS for a bunch of snacks and drinks so we didn't have to starve and/or buy expensive ass food from food trucks.
Jaylyn and Jc were taking out the small cooler from the side of the car, while I was taking out those chairs that you unfold and lay on. (idk if its called a lawn chair even though you can take them to the beach idk i just forget bc im stupid as fuck.)
"Jc come on, don't be a dick." I heard Jaylyn whisper. He was planning something...
"I'm not being a dick, I'm having a little fun." He whispered back to her and before I knew it, a whole cooler of ice water was dumped on me, immediately pissing me off.
"What the fuck, Jc." I slapped his shoulder. "Don't be salty." He smiled and kissed my forehead, making me a little more mad because he was teasing me and he knew it.
"Fuck you." I giggled and walked over to Jaylyn.
I intertwined her fingers in mine and raised our arms a little above our head.
"Piss off, Jc. Cam's mine, she doesn't deserve your fuckboy self." We ran off to the beach, leaving Jc to carry all the shit to our spot on the beach by himself.
Sooner or later, his ass made it to where Jaylyn and I were tanning and dropped all the shit in the sand next to us. "That was mean." He made a pouty face and sat on the sand next to me.
I sat up, pulled my sunglasses off of my face and turned to him.
"I know, I'm sorry." I batted my eyes and balled up a fist full of sand. I pulled him into a hug and released the sand into his hair.
"CAM OH MY FU-" He cut himself off as he saw children walking by and ruffled his hands through his hair.
"Now leave me to my tanning. We're even." He sighed and got up, "I'll be right back."
I nodded and looked back to see him standing in the shallow part of the ocean, just looking out at the horizon.
"Whatcha looking at?" Jaylyn noticed and sat up. She looked up at me and then out to where I was looking.
"Ah, Jc huh? You like him?" She nudged my shoulder with hers and bounced her eyebrows up and down.
I blushed and giggled, "Maybe..."
"OH MY GOD I SHIP IT SO MU-"
"Jaylyn shut up! He can hear you he's not that far away!" I whipser-yelled and pretty much tackled her while giggling.
"Shut the fuck up," She said with disbelief smile on her face. "Do you really think he doesn't like you? Really?"
"Well I don't know. I feel like he does like me but relationships scare me. They're just not for me." I sighed and fell back on to my beach towel.
"How come?" She layed back down next to me and closed her eyes continuing to tan.
"You want the long or short story?"
"Long. I wanna know everything so I can do everything to get you guys together."
"Jaylyn," I warned her.
"Okay, okay. Just go,"
"Well, my last (also first) boyfriend made me feel like shit. He would uh..." I don't know if I should tell her this shit. I didn't wanna ever speak of it again.
