Hello lovely people, what's kicking?? Hope you're all doing well and enjoying the story so far :) We're almost done: three more chapters to go! Thank you so much for all your patience and support through the past few months, it means the world to me! We're currently ranked #782 in Humor, which is the second time this book has been ranked and I'm honestly in awe. I don't even know what to say that could begin to convey my thoughts and thanks.
With this thank you, I have a mini announcement (which is actually huge for me!) HERE WE GO!
I've been planning this for a while, but here's the deal: I'm making the 'Love Is Love' series in 2017 (which starts tomorrow!). And guess what?? This is the first book!
This series is something that means a lot to me, and I'm hoping that (having read this book) you're able to appreciate it! So, the thing is, the 'Love Is Love' series will be filled with LGBTQ+ stories (I'm including heterosexual in the '+' even though a lot of people I know don't). Not only will it focus quite a bit on romance and relationships (although I've never been much into romance lol), just like this story, but it will try to shed some light on certain things LGBTQ+ individuals - or groups - and teens frequently face such as hate, violence, anxiety, and such. Every story will be different, some happier and funnier than others, in the effort to show how different people and their situations can be depending on their supports, environment, and age.
I think it's really important to understand these things and be supportive of each other. I don't know everyone, or everything about sexualities but I'm more than willing to learn because we're all equal and all deserve to love and be loved. I'm hoping that this series offers people that message because no matter who you are or what you identify as, you deserve the very best and to be heard.
Love is for everyone, and I'm writing this series in the hopes people can identify with or enjoy something in it, even if it's just one story.
Please comment or message me regarding any themes you'd want me to write about, or anything you want me to include in my writing, whether it be characteristics or places or plot points or other. I'd love to hear from you and perhaps your experiences, and I'll definitely consider everything and anything I'm comfortable with :)
If you can't think of anything, I'll leave you with these questions:
- What do you want me to write about?
- Who do you want me to write about?
- Do you prefer humorous stories? or dramatic? or happy? or sad?
- What do you not see a lot of, character-wise? and what would you like to see?
And on that note, I just wanted to once again thank you for being part of what has been a crazy and amazing year for me! Hopefully 2017 will bring on some more success, obstacles, friends and stories :)
I hope the new year treats you kindly and that you receive all the love, peace, happiness, laughter, support, and success you deserve. Remember that you are worth it! Just don't jump at the New Year, take it one step at a time.
Much love!
(signing off for the last time this year! lol)
