My name is Sophia Pendragon - Daughter of Uther and sister to Arthur and Morgana. I am 17 years of age, soon to be 18. I have long, Brown hair which flows down my back. My eyes are blue and my features perfect - or so I am told. My father, the King of Camelot, tells me, regularly, I am the beauty of the land, although I disagree. I am usually a happy person, although I often get into trouble, as I am not your average Princess. I like the usual of singing and dancing, but I enjoy sword fighting in my free time, but dispose it as a sport or event ( Arthur used to teach me until my father forbided me to carry on as it wasn't proper) which my farther disagrees with, as he believes I should follow and support traditions.. But, right now I am in trouble.

Real trouble.

"I publicly forbade you to leave the castle! You disobeyed my orders!" My father yelled, across the main hall, ripping me from my thoughts. "Do you have any idea of what danger you were in!?"

I had never seen him this angry before. "I........" I stuttered.

He took this opportunity to express his anger, as he paced up and down the right hand side of the hall, glaring at me while I cowered on the left of the table that ran down the centre. "Not only did you go against my strict instructions. You took NO guard, you took a serving boy instead! What were you thinking?! You're a Princess, not a servant! What were you doing?!"

"Father..." I begged. "We saved Camelot. The walls were falling. We could not have stood against Morgana's army and her magic for much longer." Morgana is my wicked sister, who betrayed my father, when she found out she has a claim on the throne and when she realised her full powers. That she is a high priestess, with magic - which she cannot use in Camelot, as this is forbidden.

"Me and Merlin stopped Camelot from crumbling. Can't you be grateful for that?" I asked, angrily.

"Grateful???" He exclaimed. "You could have died and you want me to be grateful?" He walked over to where I was stood. I straightened my back, which was hard in my wet clothes - tight trousers and a top made from the finest wool.

"You are the one who should be grateful. I should have you thrown in the cells, along with Merlin and Gaius." He spat.

"Gaius!" I shouted in surprise. "What has Gaius possibly done?"

"He knew of your plans. Merlin had confined in him."

"We saved Camelot." I reached for my father's arm, but he pulled it away sharply. "Why do you have to blame anyone. We went against your rules for the greater good. Let them go. If you have to blame, then blame me. I take full responsibility."

I was now pleading with him. "Father... if you do not let them go, then you will lose me."

He fave turned even redder, than before. "Are you threatening me?" He spat.

"No farther. I am promising you. We saved Camelot. I would have died here, in these walls, if we had not taken action!"

I was now crying. "Please. I will do anything you ask. Please, just let them go. Please, or you will have lost me forever and I might have well as died."

He sighed heavily. "This once..." I could have jumped with joy. "BUT if you EVER defy me again, I will have you thrown in the cells for a month."

"Thank you father." I told him, as I turned for the door, but I felt a arm grab hold of my wrist.

I turned to my father's stern face, "You may let them free and warn them - especially Merlin - to NEVER to go against me again."

"Of course father." I lowered my head out of respect, then walked towards the door, when his voice stopped me.
